  • That Cantu Shea butter is magic. Saved my hair

  • @blaquemajic I just got it and I don't know how to use it... Could u explain me how u use it? thank u

  • @SuJacobs Cantu is a great leave-in conditioning product for overnight styles taken out in the morning (twist, braids, bantu knots etc). I love the texture (Not too heavy or runny) It did wonders for my hair when it was in an extremely dry state (& matted). I'm not a big fan of using it on wet hair as a detangler. I'd detangle with another product, air dry a bit, and then style with cantu. Other than that, it's done a lot of good.

  • oooooooooooooohhhhhhh thats how i want my hair

  • omg thats so crazy i have similar if not the same texture and I did that to my hair like 2 weeks ago not thinking anything and when i pulled it out it came out the same way....

  • How hair has to b? wet/damp/dry?

  • your twist curl looks awsome .

  • You are so cute :-)

  • beautiful whimsical style .. beautiful face

  • Wow! I'm another 3c/4a (halfway to bra strap length) hair type. I purchased a jar today and will try it on a braid-out tonight.

  • I am going to try this with the Cantu.. I have the same hair type..3c/4a

  • i think i you may be my hair twin. first time i've ever seen someone whose hair behaves like mine. would you say it's 3b/4a

  • Never used Cantu Shea Butter...I may give it a try. I have 3b hair also :O)

  • i lov it !

  • i like this better

  • Love it!

  • I just did twists yesterday using Cantu Shea butter too! I will be taking them down and posting a twist out vid on the results....i pray they come out like yours! Beautiful!

  • thx girl u are a lifesaver love u

  • What do you do if you still have permed ends?

  • that looks so pretty

  • cute

  • i love cantu shea butter,it does great on my daughters hair

  • that is absolutly beautiful will my hair ever get like that?

  • I love your video. You are such a beautiful Afrikan Queen. I am just now at 28yrs old breaking from the "creamy crack" lol... and embracing my gift of luscious black hair. You have inspired me and I thank you sista. Keep doing yo thang ma'!!!

  • OMG! I LOVE it too...For me it works best when I put it on my hair while it's sopping wet. PHENOMENAL! Thx for the post.

  • Pretty!

  • i LOVE my cantu twist-outs. for the sake of future viewers, i like these products for twist-outs (done wet or dry & used individually, not mixing): cantu sb leave-in, whipped shea butter, MJ's baby butttercreme and qhemet amla & olive heavy cream.

  • i am a new natural and actually styled my hair for the first time by myself yesterday with cantu and i agree.... I love it! my hair is still soft i havent had to moisturize it at all since 2pm yesterday

  • thnxxx

  • I just done my twist outs with the same product last night I loved how it turned out....Thanks for the video

  • yeah me too. i really like this product because you don't need to put a lot of it on the strands of hair to get it to start curling and it makes my hair so nice and soft in the morning when i take my twists out

  • Veeeeeery nice!!!!

    *hugs*

    -Rochelle.

  • i really like how it looks after the few hours :)

  • OK so I am sharing this product called Curl Prep that I read about at the follicle chronicles. Anyone tried it. I loved it! If you have dry hair and want to stretch your curls for a few washes, go for it.

  • oh.. em... gOsh!!! i do this with my hair too! anmd i thought i was the only one.. :) it was one of the first styles i did when i got my cantu shea butter leave in conditioner. i wear the twist until i'm ready to take them out and then my is curly like urs is in this vid. I do my twist a lot bigger tho so my hair has more of a spiral curl to it. u should experiment with that ans see how it comes out.

  • your hair is super duper cute btw!

  • how long does it last?

Have my hair in two strand twist want to know if I should pull them out in the middle of the week or later on.

  • awesome!!! do you know if this works on previous permed hair?

  • lovely.

  • How do you edit your videos? Do you use anything in particular?

  • this looks cute but i like when your hair is bigger

  • end results... TO CUTE!!!

  • i use that stuff too!!! i love it, smells good too!

  • oh so hang on.. im new to this whole twist out thing, do you do anything to the end to make it stay in the twist? or does it just stay?h

  • If you're fully natural the ends should stay if you twist them around your finger a bit. If you're transitioning you'll probably need to set the ends in rollers or rods.

  • I have to try this. Thank you for the video.

  • I've heard such good things about Cantu. I really need to buy some myself.

  • It looks great...also try twisting it....then using sponge rollers over night....

  • Cute. I've heard good things about Cantu Shea butter. How long does your twist out last?

  • Your video is really Great and you get right into it without delay!

    Great information

    Thx!

  • Cute! Cantu shea butter does provide a good twistout...lol. I just did mines yesterday..my twistout is bangin! LOL

  • @curlywurlygurl haha you made me lol :P

  • your twist came out so pretty, I just bought the cantu leave in today and I have flat twist in right now, so I cant wait to see the results tommorow. I have just one question , does this stuff cause buildup?

  • Really pretty, do your twist come out better when you twist while your hair is wet?

  • you have such a beautiful face

  • Pretty twistout!

  • I usually start from the top separating my twists so they look like corkscrews. I also use LIV when ttwisting to seal in moisture. @ shidanatural Yes I twist while twisting to get the corkscrew

  • And if you want a little more "swoll" you can stand in a room of steam and they will fluff out.

  • supercute outcome!

  • i have the same hair is you... Mine is suuppper curly.. and I have this product just sitting in my bath room. collecting dust lol.. do you twist your hair more fullness? And that is so right it gets fuller through out the day.. And I do not wash my hair every day cuz it will get super dry. and every day it looks better... please tell.. thaanks. I am going to subscribe to you.. What other products do you use for your hair?

  • beautiful hair!! <3

  • That is the same with me. As the days go by it gets bigger and better.

  • i love that about twists (i've found that to be true with my dry twists also). everyday, my director is like "it looks different everyday." ppl think i do something different to it every night. by the end of the work week, on casual friday- i have this bangin' chunky fro or put it back in the cutest big puff! two-strand twists are so versatile.

  • Her hair looks great. Her version is her version. Everyone is unique.

  • I love your hair. May God bless you and keep you and give you peace.

  • looks great

  • I'm so glad you find the product & technique to get your fabulous twistout, and it is absolutely fabulous. I love the curl definition. Curious... Did you use the "Twist while Twisting" method?

  • nice! results look great.

  • Love the twists Lexi, real cute:-)
