@Sexxxecutioner In this video - yes. But normally I use Evans EC2 on top and bottom (rezo version of course :) I want to experiment with single ply heads on toms - I think that double ply heads are a bit too muffed and don't have that much attack. Cheers!
@virus515 i've been experimenting myself with just that. I haven't tested all heads on the market ofcourse, i am poor, but i have tested some double ply's and single ply's of each brand. And i must say single ply often feels better for the added stick rebound, sure helps when your going around the kit at 200+. But i also gotta say that double ply's delivers twice as much bottom end attack and volume. Drum gets much more open and good sounding for slow things with the 1 ply. Just my oppinion.
