Youtube, i have a challenge for you, i am trying to find a song that will make me cry and i've heard really depressing songs like What hurts the most - Racal Flatts, Here without you - 3 doors down, and creep - radiohead, and felt nothing, didn't cry, didn't shed a tear, my eyes didn't even water. so if you know a song, tell me.

@stonecoldvid No song in and of itself can make you cry, unless it resonates with the pain or other similar strong emotion that is already in you. If has nothing to connect to, there'll be no emotional response. Having said that, those 3 songs you listed never made me cry either. Anyway, in order to recommend you such a song one would have to know you as a person and what kind of things make you cry in general. Also, it would be helpful to know what kind of music you like.

Personally speaking, some of the songs that made me cry are River Man by Nick Drake, How to Disappear Completely by Radiohead, Julia Dream by Pink Floyd, Suburbia and Advertising on Police Cars by Matthew Good, among many others.

But again, just because these songs moved me to tears doesn't mean they will have the same effect on you.

Haha, well, I can't help you here then, cause those are the three genres of music I've never really been interested in all that much. Although, in regards to country, I had a good cry to one of Neco Case's songs called This Tornado Loves You. But I didn't cry cause the song is sad (it's not). I was just a bit overwhelmed by the subject matter, plus I didn't know country could sound like this. Plus, generally speaking, I'm a rather excitable individual I guess..ermm.. yeah.
