This is still very sad to this day. May they all still rest in peace. But forgive me, how is heavy music one of the causes that made them do this? I'd say more of bullying would of lead them to this point.

This is a horrible event that happened, and my heart goes out to the families who still may be suffering but I don't think Eric and Dylan were monsters. And when you think about it and read/listen to the videos, you'd agree that they could have been stopped. It's pathetic how it still happens. You have tragedies like this, which is fact and yet kids still go around today bullying and thinking they can treat others like worthless trash and nothing would ever happen to them.

From what I've read, he wanted to top the "carnage of WACO and the Oklahoma City bombing", and once an idea like that mixed with his mental illness he apparently had, there was no stopping him. He was a ticking time bomb. Dylan, however, could have been saved. And it honestly breaks my heart that no one bothered to do anything...

It is quite sad that it takes something as tragic as this to bring our country together. We watched it happen during this and during 9/11. We need to remember to love one another and not take life for granted. We, as people are all we have, be kind and compassionate towards others because you never know what they are going through. I hope one day we wake up and once again come together for no reason other then we finally realize we need each other.

In all fairness, I do not believe that they did this because of heavy metal music. I think it's ridiculous to say that any genre of music can promote feelings and actions that Eric and Dylan showed. I actually lived in Colorado at that time, I was 7 & I remember not being able to go to a swimming lesson that day because of "How close it was to CHS" (it really wasn't IMO). I was part of a daycamp that went to Clement Park every Friday which was around CHS -- CHS & my highschool were even rivals. Driving past CHS after the tragedy is still so surreal.

It is quite sad that it takes something as tragic as this to bring our country together. We watched it happen during this and during 9/11. We need to remember to love one another and not take life for granted. We, as people are all we have, be kind and compassionate towards others because you never know what they are going through. I hope one day we wake up and once again come together for no reason other then we finally realize we need each other.

In all fairness, I do not believe that they did this because of heavy metal music. I think it's ridiculous to say that any genre of music can promote feelings and actions that Eric and Dylan showed. You are absolutely right. The only defining factor had the two shooters survived, it would've allowed more indepth closure as to the million dollar question of "Why?" I'm not sure they would've received lethal injection, it would've depended on a jury. Now, if firing squad was in effect, I would be all for that duty!

I can't believe its been 10 years since this awful tragedy. I actually lived in Colorado at that time, I was 7 & I remember not being able to go to a swimming lesson that day because of "How close it was to CHS" (it really wasn't IMO). I was part of a daycamp that went to Clement Park every Friday which was around CHS -- CHS & my highschool were even rivals. Driving past CHS after the tragedy is still so surreal.
Let the 13 lives lost that day rest in peace.
