Not offending at all... Don't see why it would be really. My dad's side is from Germany and he's Jewish, my mom's side is Irish and she's Christian, and I've got that mix of Cultures, but I'm an agnostic atheist. Doesn't really change much anything as far as I'm concerned. I'm learning German now and I really enjoy the language, though.
