Comparing The Punisher (1989) with The Punisher (2004) is like comparing Hulk (2003) with The Incredible Hulk (2008). The Punisher (1989) and Hulk (2003) focused more on the psychological torment that our protagonist faces where as The Punisher (2004) and The Incredible Hulk (2008) was more about action. Granted, both films do have their share of great action.

After giving this a second chance I really like this. I can get past the fact that they don't show the skull logo & it has a few chessy moments but other than that it kicks the shit outta the 2004 version. Dolph Lungran is awesome as Frank Castle The Punisher. I must buy this! ; )
