Please help! My foot looks just like yours, except it is the right foot in my case. It has swelling behind my toes and i cant press down on that spot without having a great deal of pain. also, i cannot lift myself up on my toes with that foot. I play football and we run A LOT in practice, please tell me how your foot felt when it was injured, it happened about a week ago. Thank you
Hi again, just wanted tolet u know that i had my ultrasound and they asked me to re-do Xray cos they founf a fracture for stress in the 3rd metatarsal. So im wearing similar boot as u show in ur video. I followed ur advice on not putting any pressure on my foot and it feels better, Txs
When i dont walk i feel better same when i bandage my foot. I bought crocs and i feel better with them cos they r large enough and they dont bend really the sole so it helps my toes to be still. Txs again for replying and ill let u know once i get the result but for sure no before Xmas cos next docotr appointment is on the 6th January, oh god so long still to wait
oh txs, for advice, My gp and and chiropractic think i've got Morton's neuroma but i feel ive got something broken to b honest. Cant explain it but i decided to use crutches while waiting for doctor, long waiting list and if they send me for MRI is cos I went tothe hospital last week due crazy pain otherwise... My Gp just prescribed pain killers and said rest.Cant afford to go on private so ive to wait for NHS (England).
Hi i've got pain in my foot for 6weeks and still waiting for MRI appointment. My toes look like ur the video and dont have any bandage or so whatever on it. Can't walk without crutches and don't know what to do. Any advice?txs
I wouldn't be walking or putting any pressure on it until i got my results and i got a bone scan which you don't have to wait for long over here... a week. You might want to consider an alternative scan to MRI if you're still waiting.... ask your doctor.
no cast, it is a bit tender sometimes but started back my running on week 6. all okay, will take it gently for a couple more, better to be safe than sorry. Rather that than have another x-ray or nuclear bone scan.
hi i have just had my cast taken off today having been in plaster for 7 weeks.i broke my 1st metatarsal playing football and although the doctor said it had healed it is still very swallen on top and strange to stand on.did you have a cast on and did u still have swelling when it came off?
I hope u solve the problem as expected. I got hit very badly during a soccer game and broke 2nd and 3rd metatarsal, it's been six months from then and still not ok, having had osteoporosis on top of that. still not expecting to run in the next months,
did you have to pay for the air cast?

@bublegum360 I bought the boot for $160 and then resold it via my physio.

yes i'm back to running very gently start of week 6. I won't push it for the next two weeks as i want to compete in another marathon come April.
Good luck with your recovery.
