I've seen different footage of this same attack. I think the shark brushes her at first and she swims towards a little boat and the shark comes back and grabs her because it sees the boat as a threat. The shark would have taken her under had she not been holding onto some kind of wooden pole people in the small boat had stuck out for her to grab onto. That's what I read anyway. And I believe the woman herself said all she felt was a pop when the shark took ker leg.

Everyone who says she is to blame is just stupid. And the guy who said hes a shark expert is clearly lying, its a common myth that sharks have bad vision, but completely false. The trashing about and swimming she was doing attracted attention from the shark, but she didnt deserve it, no one does. Also "shark infested waters" made me laugh, sharks are in every ocean in the world, they swim with humans all the time without us knowing it.
