They all use psychological speech tactics. Hand gestures like the thumb move (I wonder if it is an olde time gesture like holding a Bible in the pulpit) or the reaching with the open hand & the head nod (as a gesture of beckoning & acceptance).
Obama, in particular, is well trained in alliteration, rhythmic breathing & tone control, eye contact etc. He's a hypnotist.

Bush? Clinton (Mr and Mrs), Gore, Kerry, Kennedy, Edwards, and so many more Democrats do it as well. Hell, all politicians do it. All politicians are full of shit.
