Beware! The jacks you are using have little structural strength unless they are pulled up on the ratchet mechanism so just pull the support up about an inch and it should click into the first ratchet groove.
If you're not dead already consider yourself lucky.
I have auto tech and i had to pretend the my tire was flat and change the tire && i has that thing to lift the car and ONE jackstand. how do i lift the car?
