Now just get someone on the turret, proceed through the map, and hopefully when they are teleported to you, they will bring the Phantom with them. If you could get out of the map, get them teleport to you with the Phantom, you could launch without worrying about barriers! :D

No, that's just the control scheme. It's called Bumper Jumper. Most people seem to keep their controls on Default but Bumper Jumper tends to be more convenient in the long run.

In Halo 3, press start, go to settings, go to game controls, then go to button layout. From there, just change it to Bumper Jumper or whatever layout you want. Most people either do default or bumper jumper. I chose Bumper Jumper because it's easier to use. I've been told most people in MLG use it, but I don't know if that's true or not. Also, a lot of Bungie employees use it as well.
