Sorry to be a broken record about this base...16.95 is alot for me to spend. haha. But yo usaid it was a great base for 'matte' shadows. Is it not a good idea to use it w/ shimmer shadows? Just curious. :)

its ok with shimmer just doesnt hold on to shimmers as well because it drys almost smooth thats why its so good for mattes also the pot lasts agessssss lol :)

hiya :) i use mineral powder foundation which is actually good for your skin , i also use a good moisturiser daily and cleanse morning and night :)

hey girl -u do an awesome job! - i just had one question for you... do you think that the MAC paint pots keeps the shadow from creasing? - i usually used the mac paints, because they are not as creamy, i feel like the paint pots are too creamy and will make my shadows crease. or do they just need a minute to dry once u apply it? i heard that they are going to stop making paints, and i am very upset, so im wondering if the paint pots work the same? hope u can help, thanks

heya :) yes i let the paint pots dry for a few mins before applying the eyeshadow it certainly helps with creasing :)

i like mac because they are highly pigmented and have an enormous range of colours , but i also have several cheap products that are just as good ie, pure luxe mineral eyeshadows , 120 colour palette ect.. :)

I'm so glad I'm not the only person that thought of using a lip brush! lol I went to the Mac store before Christmas and no one came over to help me at all, so I picked out a brush that would be perfect for what I wanted. When I finaly did get some help she made me feel like the biggest idiot for getting the lip brush, and sold me one that I hate, and hardly ever use now. And she sold me the wrong foundation. Oh well. lol
