Try hitting control and space bar and zooming in on the picture a little. I have the same problems and zooming in or zooming out seems to correct the problem. To zoom out (without having to click on the magnifying glass in the toolbar), hit the ctrl+alt+space bar.

hey some tips plz. i use the polygonal lasso then sometimes when i am connecting around the car, before i finish circling the whole car, it sometimes auto connects back and then im like, how do i undo that? so i control z and the whole lasso goes away how? how?

It is supposed to. Click your mouse evey time you want it to start a new line

Save as -> And then you choose format :) I recommend using .PNG

Actually I personally don't like the magic wand, it just makes the wrong selection for me and then I get mad at it, lol. I'm sure there is a way to avoid it but I prefer normal lasso tool =)
