I am not going to kid around... I had so much trouble with a Motorola modem. My bro uses one, we use a quest modem. Way better. The Motorola always messed up, got slow, got hot, went unresponsive, etc. I don't know if he got a faulty unit but it sucked. Other than that, great video :)

Cool vid , However on the cable modem the usb does auto detect but your going to have to to run the disk that came with the modem to install the modem drivers to the PC. Ethernet (which is the best connection) only requires you to reset the modem and you should be good to go. If not, contact ur cable company. I see that this was posted back in feb 08' There are cable modems such as the the motorola SBG900 and the linkys WCG200 that will provide the wireless function. Just some info for ya.

Just in response to you guys, our local cable company has programmed their cable modems to auto install the software when plugged into the USBl whereas if you use the ethernet you have to run the setup disk to configure the modem. In off the shelf modems, if you know how you absolutely do not need the disks, and on some pc's you do not need them for the USB either.

hey coolman i have a dsl at&t modem and the thing is that most of them already have a built in router. all you need is the paper that came with the modem and youll find the ip address and a name input it into your psp and then search the network. it should come up I hope this helps you....SUBSCRIBE
