Those Kellys are only partly or basically Irish, having so many other influences. Apart from all the girls here being a bit on the heavy side, the girl waging a dance has never really learned Irish dancing. They are hippies, and just look at the silly costumes. Of course they are all somehow musical, but in a very Gypsy way.

This is in Matt Molloy's, a pub in Westport, Ireland. Matt Molloy is one of the chieftains, and owns the pub. You always get a traditional session going on in the pub, the black stuff is flowing and craic is great. You can get up and belt out a tune, or play - whatever your thing, or just simply enjoy the craic. Great, great pub.

They aren't German. They are the Kelly Family from Spain/Ireland. Their parents came from America to Spain. They all speak many languages, many fluently. She speaks German because they were probably making it for a German TV show maybe. They made over 2 million videos and spoke in whatever country's language they were in at the time..

and at the end: I have a story about my great grandfather. He went to america with his parents as a seven year old. He had a fiddle and could already play it. He was so good at dancing that they accepted him into vaudeville shows. Entertainment was Italian or irish, and vaudeville was the irish entertainment.

There is a snare drum between the bodhran an fiddle players. And it is being played through the song. If you listen closely you can hear the beat of it with the metallic vibration. And if you watch right at the end of the song, you can see someone playing it.
