Denatured alcohol burns hotter and won't burn out as easily, Heet is a gas tank antifreeze you can find in a yellow bottle at Wal-Mart that a lot of people who use for alcohol stoves. Happy Trails!
To find the step by step instructions to make either the Alchol stove or the Aluminum bottle cook pot....go to INSTRUCTABLES COM and search for ALUMINUM BOTTLE
I drink Bud lite and I hate it. Personally I'd rather drink a Becks or Guinness but ya know, after seeing this nice bit of craftsmanship I believe I'll have to buy more Bud. Nice job.
pretty fucking sweet .... be fucking great for traveling and great design one of the coolest looking diy alcohol stoves ive see.... as of right now im costomizing a a stove out of a tiki torch because i want the flame to last longer and work as a comping heater as well
Excellent design! I've been working with a design of my own based off of your video and instructables info. My favorite stove to date. Hoping to take this one on a summit to Mt. Adams this August.
I looked at the video you posted. Good work! I assumed you used aluminum bottles as well? I like the clean look of the bare Alum. A little credit nod for the Instructable at the end of the video wouldn't hurt either (hint, hint) :) Let me know how it performs at elevation.
I like it! very nice design. Looks like it is well built. Time and effort pay off this is proof of that. Im going to have to try this one! Looks like a challenge for me in the shop and I am looking forward to it! Great Stove!
Lovely, I really gotta find those cans. easily among the coolest on the web, and you have some real competition. You need to add the link to the instructables site to see the instructions. I may have to break down and buy a few buds just fer the chance to make one or four. I guess I should be grateful it isn't Heinekin, cause that is way worse.
