  • Awesome guitarist one of the greatest....Great song!!

  • Ther are traces of Springsteen in this video, not really the song, unless u count the sax, but the way Colin stands and holds his guitar, and plays it, just mannerisms.

  • I will never forget this song!! I was 18 and my cousin Beppo was over from Estonia! He brought over these two fat chicks and we took turns banging them. THEN...he was hit my a meteroite!! I hotwired my dad's LAda and threw Beppo in the trunk to get him to the hospital! We made it just in time! The doctor said if we didnt pull that chunk of rock out of Beppo's ass he would have died! Poor Beppo. He still need a special toilette seat, but I love him anyway. He is my favorite cousin!

  • He's just great!!!!!

  • ugh..that hair!

  • Great Song & Album! Yes - Album!

It's unfortunate that he hit the states just as this style was going out. By the time his next album hit this sound could NOT be found on any rock staion in the states. he is still putting out music today. Check it out!

  • I loved this song, and "Voodoo Thing"... Of course this has nothing to do with his music, but I forgot that C.J. was really cute!

  • This is music that rocks the soul...Goes deep and stirs the emotions.

  • @Chidanandaji sure does indeed, they don't write them like this today

  • A long time favorite of mine. Fantastic song from Colin James !!

  • Seen him in 89 in T.O Great show.

  • Colin James ROCKS! Awesome!

I discovered him just about 1 month ago....

One of the Canadian rocks' gems who never became famous enough worldwide. His place IMO is between the best!

  • colin james gives one of the best concerts around

  • colin james rocks

  • The sax parts give me goosebumps.

  • Its because he doesn't tour here in the States, he only plays in Canada... If you want people to buy your record you have to promote it. Yes Colin James is one of the finest guitarists to come along in a while.I just wish I could go see his show! His Little Big Band CD's are awesome

  • I agree with y'all. Colin James Rocks! I first heard of him when Guitar Player magazine named him the greatest unknown guitarist in the world. Although he never really hit it big here in New Zealand, I bought this CD and Sudden Stop and they always got the party started. It's good after all these years being able to see the video (finally). Thanks You Tube.

  • Well down Colin....The Praries ROCK!

  • Holy shit, I gotta put this one on my mp3 player! That's really good Canadian 80s rock!

  • Too Bad he didn't play this...I lived in Baltimore MD when this was out it got a lot of airplay on our rck station before they went all grunge

  • My mother bought this album when I was ten...I stole it from her and wore the tape out from playing both sides over and over again...LOVE IT

  • He is my favorite!!!!!!

  • Saw him last night. Too bad he never played this tune though. The guy can't stand still for 2 seconds though. He's all over the crowd & really gets into it with his band. Best show I've seen yet.

  • colin james rocks

  • Canada's Stevie Ray Vaughn

  • This just proves that CANADA ROCKS!!

  • CANADA FTW!

  • best song ever made from a guy who grew up in Regina. Colder Than You by the Waltons is a close second

  • great song,!!!!!

  • Colin James rocks. Canadian stars like Justin Bieber and Shiloh sucks.

  • kick ass song... cheers from mexico

  • I remember when this CD came out; too cool for words. In my opinion he just keeps getting better, no matter which genre he chooses!

  • This song isnt as good as some of the other songs of his, its not as blues to me..

  • this song is sooooo groovy. I can't get enouhg of it. I sometimes repeat it after listening to it. Hahaha

  • Great song. Sad, but great.

  • This song was also used in the movie Eddie and the Cruisers ll....Eddie Lives by John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band . I highly recommend both Eddie and the Cruisers movies. Eddie Wilson lives.

  • who cares honestly.think about how good this song is!!!!!!!

  • A white person.

  • in your case, an idiotic white person.

I am referring to the fact that the poster thinks you need to be black in order to play the blues.

  • Idiotic, No. Ignorant, Yes. I had no clue someone had associated musicianship with skin colour I just saw the question and answered it.

  • I met Colin back in the 90's. nice guy. great music!

  • my friend married colin james not only is he an amazingly talented singer and guitartist but he is charming and kind! i love this song

  • HOLY FACK! What an amazing guitarist/singer!

  • easily one of the most talented canadian artists :)

    His work is amazing

  • Colin James!! SO AWESOME

  • extremely talented writer, singer, guitarist.

great song ! my favorite album of Colin James is Sudden Stop :)

  • his blues stuff is awesome in its own right. Clapton, Allman, Haynes, Mayer, list could go on for Caucasians who are amazing when it comes to the blues.

  • I saw him at the Kee to Bala a few years ago in Muskoka. Great show; the ladies went nuts.

  • The verses are pure genius, choruses run a little flat, but this kid could rock, too bad he had to go bluesy on us.Caucasions shouldnt do the blues......well maybe Stevie Ray came close to approval.

  • You're such an idiot. Thanks for making the rest of us feel better about ourselves, just by being yourself.

  • Your right that was an idiotic comment, anybody can play the blues if it inspires them.

  • The sax gives me a jump start in the morn accident7....i'm 57...:):)

  • i love the sax in this song

  • I'm sorry Colin James is a good guitarist but Jeff Healey is probably the greatest ever produced by Canada. That man had magic in his hands.

  • Bryan Adams.

  • fuck byran adams

  • gay

  • I'd put Healey & James on the same level but that's just my opinion.

  • This no doubt is one of his best songs...I would even go further and say that this goes down as one of the best Canadian songs of all time.

  • he's about as close to a canadian stevie ray vaughn as we're going to get

  • i always thought that this song was by Glass Tiger. It doesn't really sound like Colin James bluesy sound.

  • What the hell are you talking about? Totally sounds like Colin James! Glass Tiger? LMAO..."Don't Forget Me When I'm Gone...."

You see, Colin James plays music...Glass Tiger?? Well, I'm not really sure what to say about them.

  • saw colin james at the late show in niagara falls great live performer

  • I lived in the US and this was gold

  • bad habits by for his best disc, song 1 to song 11

  • Never understood why Colin James wasn't bigger here in the States. I've been a fan since this song was brand new, and have turned alot of people on to his music. I'll be blasting a whole lotta his tunes from my rental house on the Jersey Shore in August.

  • @StarWormwood make sure to yell at those stupid bitches there

  • Thank you so much for adding this. This song brings back a TON of memories for me. :-)

  • The Saxophone Made the song

  • Yah he had a killer sax player in his band. I seen him in the late 80's backing up ZZ Top and he had the place rockin'.

  • By far the best CJ song (so far!)

  • yesssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Regina's own!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • loove him!!!!!!

  • This is definitely one of my favourite Colin James songs!

  • The saxaphone is the best part.

  • lol

  • Does anyone know if there is a video for "Stay"

  • honestly, this is the only song of his i like, but it rocks my ass every freakin' time!!!

  • How can this be the ONLY song you like when he has so many great songs. Why'd You Lie, Just Came Back, Voodoo Thing, there are so many they wouldn't fit here.

  • <33

This song is my favourite by him :)

  • I have been waiting for someone to put this up!!COOOOOOOOL!!!Cheeeeeerssss!! A shot for you whoever you are!!LOL

  • this is absolutely fabulous and should be re-released

  • wow this guyrocks love 89

  • Awesome Awesome Awesome!!! I just LOVE this man's music! He HAS to b the MOST under-rated talent in North America! Blows 3/4's of the shit we hear everyday right out the window!!!!
