I'll never forget sitting in the beachers  near the front row with 3 friends of mine in the 76 playoff game 5. I'm sure every Yankee fan knows how that one turned out. I remember the whole crowd chanting Brett Sucks, and then one guy would say my "bleep".

I miss Scooter so much and Bobby Murcer. There's a guy here on YouTube that does Bob Sheppard and Eddie Layton as a tribute/impersonation. They should hire him. Yankee Stadium needs this guy. It would be the greatest nod to the old Stadium.

The name of the Sheppard/Layton

impersonator is Chris Pavio. Eddie Layton

used to invite him into his booth during

games. I told him that Eddie should have picked him as the new organist when Eddie Retired. Chris said he wouldnt want the job because he doesnt play that well. Could have fooled me ! He plays very well. I miss the old days too, not that its bad now but I do miss the old days

My grandfather introduced me to Yankee Baseball and Phil Rizzuto. We use to sit in our living room out on long island and watch the games on WPIX. One of my best childhood memories!
