I have been there once and I must say these fans really work hard at what they put into productions. They're very friendly ,unfortunately I couldn't stay long enough to help,how ever being there was fun! My advice anyone going out there,don't travel by car go by train instead.If you go by car you have to go through snake Vally going there and coming back Herculie mountain. So enjoy what they put out and stop bitching.

WTF... Aside from a 5 minute laughing fit after seeing 'Kirk' and his hair, this show did nothing for me. It's acting is talentless, ridden with inaccuracy, and an overall waste of time. FFS, the actors don't even look or act like the characters we love. I am ashamed. These so called 'fans' should be ashamed. Roddenberry would be heartbroken to see his dream made into a cheap high school production like this. The original idea was paramount, but the execution blows. I think it's time for a do-o

No problem with the show, but Why are the weapons so inaccurate? Even now we have auto tracking, fire and forget,radar and laser guidance, and a host of other things. Why fer heavens sake, dont they have weapons that Kirk can pull out, push the fire button and .003 seconds later, seven bad guys are just a peculiar odor on the breeze?

I'm been following Cawley and the dedicated work of these guys for some years now. I honestly get the feeling they know what the original series was about. I like what they are doing, however.

Perhaps its because I've pre established images of what some of the characters should look and act like. But i do feel Spock is a little too relaxed, slouchy...I just didn't feel i was looking at Spock while i was watching this clip. Other then that, i love the camera work and the mccoy/kirk conversation

I've seen this several times now and every time I find myself wondering about Bones passing by that crewman in red as the shots are fired (around 1:45). Shouldn't he at least have stopped and checked for a pulse?

Otherwise, great clip. I hope that soon this complete episode will become available for fans to watch.

@magicalgirl After three years on the job, Bones has figured out that there's a cycle of the red crew dying, whenever a new plot needs to feel threatening. He's gotten to the point where he doesn't need to check.

Cawely, Company, and Phase II is far superior to the Abrams movie. Cawleys product is character oriented as was the original and not just action a mile a minute. ReverendSyn had it right turn the franchise over to Cawley. These Phase II episodes are what I've craves for the past 40 years.

While I am not sure about the particular music in question, some of the music we use has never been released.

@RobertMfromLI The music in question is what plays when the landing party is attacked. The first time I heard it from the original series was from the episode The Enemy Within, when the camera moves up to the transporter pad and the evil Kirk spins around to reveal himself to the audience. It has this driving sense of doom to it and was used quite a lot on the show like most of the background music. I wasn't sure if it was ever released because I do like it a lot.
