Hi I'm from Ghent. I must admit the cobblestones were nicer and more medieval, but because of the heavy busses they were full of cracks. Therefor it was dangerous to walk on, nevermind cycling. It's true, the trolleybusses with wires on line 3 are gone. The busses they use now on that line are temporary. In probably 7/8 years they should be gone aswell. They will have been replaced by trams which is good as it is a busy line. Hopefully that way the roads in the city center will last longer.

Also a little correction: It's "Evergem" instead of "Edegem". Edegem exists but is in the city of Antwerp. :)
