I was there in '66 for basic training.  Wooden WWII barracks greeted us!! Hotter than blazes in the summer months. Glad to get out of there and move on.

Back in my day (summer 2007), Fort Sill was an all male training post that catered mostly to soldiers going into the field artillery. Now, they integrate female recruits with male recruits, so the standards have been lowered so females can keep up with everyone else.

Over 10 years ago I was here at Fort Sill, Ok 13B . They don't show the dumb ass in Pts with a pair of cowboy boots. I am still on active duty and reclassed to a mos that I can't get promoted in or get out of.

@Amuatur16 yes you do get money when you go to boot camp usually its not cash though you'll get a card for like $250 so you can go buy your necessary needs like shampoo and stuff like that it comes out of your first pay check. woman however get $350 because they need more personal hygiene items. but weather your active duty or reservist you'll get paid active duty pay during boot camp and AIT training. i thought i'd help you out so yeah hope it did
