Great videography. But why do all the homes up in that area,like the ones in northern Alaska all look like shacks even though they might be nice inside?

At the end of the video that is an eskimo summer hunting camp that we visited. All of the buildings were made by hand and must survive the harsh winter. This was on the very top of north america.

I would think buildings much like ones in cities would hold up better to harsher winters.
