I just don't get why this song isn't played on every radio station in America all day every day. Seriously though, it never got the airplay it deserved. I don't think I've ever heard a better song. By the way, sorry dadain015 but I'm Waymon Boone's #1 fan :-)
Too bad to your country but here in the Philippines, it's being played every Saturdays & Sundays but i here it by chance or should a say by luck. Because every weekends they play them as a backtrack. :)
Let's see, the only band that 38 years after its inception still has the original members intact. Steven Tyler has enough charisma in his little pinky to match Mick Jagger anyday. But you know what? He'll never bow up about it. Nobody loves performing more than Steve, Joe, Tom, Brad, and Joey.
good news my friends ,splender is returning, there is hope for music yet. well the bad news is britney , jonas brothers, usher, beyonce, and fifty cent still exist.
Lead singer Waymon Boone is heading up a 3 man (well 2 men and 1 girl-) rock-pop group called Headrush, their album hasn't been released yet, and they have no label, but their sound is kickass. Jon Svec, the former guitarist of Splender is lead guitarist in a band called Edison. Drummer Marc Slutsky is currently on tour with Rosi Golan. James Cruz is now playing in a band called MisUniverse (no relation to the Miss Universe pageant.) 4/6/07
Splender is one of the most talented bands I have ever known of. I've always been shocked that they didn't make it bigger than they did. HOpefully Wayman Boone's new band Headrush will make it big.
They weren't around [in the public eye] long enough. The delayed release of "To Whom" hurt things too. It's such a shame - they would have fit right into the late 90s rock world, and they would have been the best band that group had to offer. Maybe there's still hope for a reunion in the future. Stranger things have happened.
yeah.. pretty bad... i love this band too... i am actually sad when i searched 0 results in youtube... thats why i posted this for a tribute... too bad.. i will not see them play again...
actually i visited the bands website... www.splender.com... they said it was under construction and the singer wayne boone is in another project... so maybe they are still up..not disbanded...?
What happened to these guys?

Another project that was handled by the IKON- TODD RUNDGREN. The guy is an absolute genius!
huskered62 5 years ago
Rundgren did their first album - this is off the second one. I wish he had done both; this song could have used a little less Pop in the arrangement.
