Sorry, but a performance review (and HR in general) is simply a device created by previously unhireable people who justify their jobs by creating unnecessary, counter-productive, non-company work, forcing another employee to justify their jobs. The tail wagging the dog. Do your corporation a favor; cut your HR dept., and hire more productive employees who actually bring revenue to your company.
@drewboss Before they sold water in bottles, it was incumbent upon the dept. head to use their brain for a few minutes when evaluating prospective talent. HR gives the CEO a finger to point at in the event all goes wrong. Facious micro-management at its best. Corporate nanny state or HOA. Divestment of all responsibility, and a shame.
@laaxe I agree, as you say 'before they sold water in bottles' many things were done incorrectly. Why with the invention of this thing called the internet, we can even recruit on-line for jobs and create employment contracts on a thing called a computer. We can also recruit IT people (they manage these systems). Seems this would take up a lot of your CEO's time, therefore it would make sense to do some training in this area, better call the HR person.....
LOL Its funny that some people didnt actually watch the vidoe to see that the black woman was the boss and the asian lady was the lazy employee and didnt do her work. Looking the previous racial comment shows the stereotypes many have and bring this to work.
