I really love this app, I use it every day at university and it has made note-taking both much more organised and accessible, but also much more enjoyable. The experience is really intuitive.
Don't worry about those who say it needs to be great right from the beginning. Release early, release often is the mantra of many successful programmers and companies, including 37 Signals.
@johnkoetsier Thanks! Given the tight timeframe between the announcement and release of the iPad, we decided it would be best to build out what we could for an early release, and keep on working on new features moving forward.
This app suffers from very little functionality. Mixing in audio-notes, recording at lections, etc. and selective playback whilw roking on your own course/homeworks could have been much more useful.
Notes can be exported as an HTML email, or transferred to other devices running CourseNotes. Audio is not there yet, but look for it in a future release!
ph value was beast! can all those small notes be compressed into a pdf or other format and can the app record audio and note recording times on the notes? that is what i need, great demo!
Can you show how this app would work with a math course? Does the palm of your hand get in the way while drawing notes?

I like the UI but seems a little sluggish, and I really hope the draw feature gets added. That's what's preventing me from buying it.

@apoapostolov This is only the beginning -- a lot of great new features are on the way!

@rockstjaerna For most iPhone apps, getting it right from the start is essential.
