Interesting that Mr. Bragg adopted the Rosanne Cash arrangement of this, one of my favourite Laura Nyro songs. Rosanne Cash's version can be heard on 'Time and Love: The Music of Laura Nyro', a various artists tribute disc released in 1997, the year we lost Ms. Nyro to ovarian cancer.
