i've watched this before and know how it ends, but it's mind blowing to see the punishment these two mete out and absorb. hiroshi is in showcase condtion. i've never seen him so cocky and disdainful.

not knowing japanese, i get the impression that hiroshi has dissed shinsuke in the lead up to this match. shinsuke appears to be the aggrieved and hiroshi couldn't be more arrogant. whatever is going on, both wrestlers are in character 100% +. neither of them ever slacks off or cuts an opponent any slack, so this is bound to be a fantastic match.

some years ago, i had two friends who wreslted in a southern ca indy. they were the best of friends, but you'd never know it from how they kicked each other's ass in the ring.  i suspect the same here. in the seventh minute, notice prince devit ringside. not sure but he seems to be in hiroshi's corner.

a match between two wrestlers, who contrast in most respects - priceless. shinsuke is always expressionless kicking an opponent's ass, but sells as do few others, when he's being savaged. i was actually surprised with the outcome. when was the last time the wwe really surprised you? I mean really suprised you.

I don't think that nakamura got the attention he needed as a champ. Don't get me wrong, I respect Mutoh, but he's been champion enough, let nakamura get what he earned
