    Reggae Everywhere!!!!!

    Peace From Greece!

  • Roshaad... I was actually trying to refer to Lucky Dube (may he rest in peace) and his song reggae business. However if we really really wanted to be purist, we could say that the roots lie in Trinidad, in the 20's, when calypso first came out and was sung in Afro-French patois. But yeah, I know it's Jamaican, especially Kingston. All what matters is the vibe, peace and harmony. respect to you brother... ;-)

  • Good to see reggae in the Asian community! Jah bless.

  • dude i looked this up at random i didn't think there actually was a japanese reggae band

  • yeah me too

  • Normally, I do not accept or recognise Reggae outside Jamaica or Britain. But this is very good.

  • Nobody really knows where reggae started... Africa? W.I? UK? why not Asia? And who really cares? One sound, one vibe, one people, all of us..It's everywhere, like Jah...Respect bro!

  • Respect to you too...but, essentially, I'd say Jamaica.

  • u might not know but we who started it knows, it is no problem 4 u 2 play or listen just remenber reggaeland is jamaica

  • guillaumemaze big respect 2 u enjoy the vibe but dont get disoriented

  • Forever lovin Ja

  • yeah reggae started in Sweden in 1922.

    WTF

  • @GuillaumeMaze Whoa whoa whoa dont get carried away there. Reggae is and was and has always been Jamaican. What next people will be pondering who came up with cars?

  • @GuillaumeMaze are you fucking kidding me? Raggea is African root music the slaves brough it over to America (jamaica), you don't really know what is the meaning of raggea. so please stop copy African music and call it your own. Next you going to say is capeira dance from brazil is japanese martial art..LMFAO at you!

  • hey you, although reggae music came from jamica, but other countries like hir in the philippines has the right to play and create a reggae songs, although wer not jammaican, but we have our own type of reggae song, a philippine reggae. Music and reggae is for everybody it is not only for jamaicans...

  • @mellowmood29 I'm jamaican, I agree with u totally, keep producing good reggae

  • @mellowmood29

Just wanted to add that if you add other sounds to reggae you get a reggae feel but you no longer have reggae. You can add only so much b4 you have a different sound and can't call it reggae anymore. It is a new form of music. When rocksteady changed they realized the new sound was reggae and when reggae changed the new sound became dancehall. Change is ok and spreading it in the world is great. Just don't put things in the wrong category.

  • @lilnikk2004 reggae was never brought to jamaica from africa, the Nyabingi Drum was brought here, reggae was created in jamaica from the Rocksteady which evolved from ska, Reggae started as a result of political tension which covered the island in the late 60's early 70's and it was there way of expressing what was happening on the Island, reggae has never been defined by the drumming but by the bass guitar, so please don't call Jamaican music African. we do love africa though and owe them alot

  • @timeoutdean Wow! you are truely an uneducated NIGGER your stupidity goes well with your face, And really feel sorry for who ever breeded you!

  • @lilnikk2004 The easiest way to respond to your comment would have been the same racist route that you have taken, but as jamaicans we weren't grown that way....So please my fellow human being whatever ethnicity you belong, I would much prefer we do this inteligently to resolve any issues u may have with my post. I do understand that the internet is the easiest way to live out ones own childish rascist aspirations but please don't

  • @GuillaumeMaze Your right we shouldn't really care where it started because its for everyone, but it wasn't any secret that it was started in Jamaica a hybrid of Ska that evolved to Rocksteady then to Reggae and to its bastard offspring Dancehall

  • @GuillaumeMaze

I get your point but we do know where it was created! Certain music comes from certain places! Reggae started in Jamaica. The style known as reggae and classified as reggae started there. I agree that now it is everywhere....but Jamaica is where is started.

  • @GuillaumeMaze The sound of the music has no hint of asian backround.

  • @GuillaumeMaze you know damn well where it started and for damn sure didnt start in uk

  • @GuillaumeMaze tru tru tru river regga earth!!!!!
