  • so beautiful how great music ties us all together...so sad how it can tear us/the haters apart...kinda like religion...just enough of it to make us hate and not love one another...more ppl need to hear this song...just sayin'.

  • i heard this song playing very quietly in a store. i just had to know what song it was. i only caught like one line, and i think i got some of the words wrong because i still couldn't find it. five months later, i'm here.

  • Classic!

  • What talent! I miss the 60's deeply, this song reminds me of blasting thru the back canals of So. Fla. in my uncle's 17 ' Champ speed boat @ 75 mph, no kidding! 400 HP Halmon Moody Boss 302 engine, insanely over powered and fun beyond beleif, as was , and, still is this great music. Thanks so much for posting. PS Dara is my neice, not me, { Dennis}

2 minute video, if it doesn

't end up a cover.....truth will set you free!

  • ?uestlove should just have a publicly listed playlist already

  • The Guess Who did a lot of really great songs. But this one is my absolute favorite. Kinda says it all.

  • great great band....burton cummings is one of the best singers...these guys NEVER got the credit they deserved...AND Rush isnt in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame....this anti-Canadian attitude sucks!!!!

  • @JonBonBowie ...thats funny..but I thought she became "a nun"...lots of cheap pot...

  • always loved this song, way more than American Woman. i usually only 'like' or fav live music, BUT i liked this... just b/c of the cool/groovy background :)

  • About ten years ago, I bought a book in Sams Club called She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb. It was about a woman nemd Dolores Price. It took me about two weeks to read it, it was a good book in my opinion. This song reminds me of the book.

  • No puedo dejar de escuchar esta rola.

  • Classic Nahum 3 - (NKJV) with Revelation 17-18. She won't get it till sundown when she has the wolves as companions..barking at the blood red moon!

  • 31 tools thought it was "Undone"...

  • Funky, sweet, groovy & sooo cool...can ya dig it??

  • 2000th like!

  • Very Nice Tunes even for today!!!!

  • Very NiceTunes even for today!!!!

  • this song epitomizes the period of the late 60's-early 70's that I love so dearly... and BTW, I always thought this song was about a girl who perma-tripped on acid..LOL!!

  • Love the 777...GREG! Read the 7 - FOLD INSTRUCTIONS in relationship to the 7th WEEK in Enoch 93 sometime. (Online - just Key Word - Book of Enoch). KEYS OF DAVID in Philadelphia! Love YAH!

  • Firstly, it's to come UNDONE, meaning to come unfastened, at least literally like a seat belt. Secondly, it sounds like lots of people had psychological breakdowns then, somewhat what to come UNDONE means figuratively.

  • @GlennDiamant Yes, UNDONE. Like falling apart at the seams...

  • @mrstevehartman Or a seat belt coming apart and open.

  • @GlennDiaman As you go over a cliff. Now thats UNDONE !

  • Brilliant !

  • I've come unglued myself a few times.

  • I adore this song.

  • Yes, this is my favorite song by The Guess Who.

  • you spelled undone wrong.

  • @shaver, It's spelled correctly. That's how the Guess Who spelled it.

  • what a blast to play on the drums, just shut my eyes and feel it

  • Great song! Loved the Guess Who in my youth (many years ago). Saw Bachman and Turner this month in Lethbridge, Alberta. They still have it!

  • Better than some of today's music!

  • Life was great in the days when a new Guess Who single was playing on the radio. It seemed like a regular routine to have these guys splashing the top 40 with a tuneful rock song at every time of the year. It seemed like it would never end. But the output slowed and vanished, but at least the sound evolved with BTO for a while. Those were great days to be a kid with a transistor radio.

  • @MisterEvasion

Yes! Pressed against my ear late at night. Mine was white with giant dials. Man I loved it back then. Wish I could go back and at least briefly visit those days again.

  • @MisterEvasion Remember it like it was yesterday!!!!! BTO was also great too!!!!!

  • I'm surprise, I knew Guess Who but I never listened before this song.... Very Good!

  • So many memories..of this band..when times seemed rough.. The Guess Who.. gave us the answers... Indeed we became undun... war, injustice, and our trying to find our voice.

  • sweet jazz...smile

  • very, very good !

  • Burton Cummings....One of the top 5 male vocalists off all time.

  • @lawman446

    Agreed... My first. What's yours?

  • man.. disliking this band is like disliking puppy dogs, warm summer days, & fishing!

these people must not like themselves!

  • @jkforever10 alot of people don't like fishing. just sayin.

  • Good shit..TY greg

I'll say it again you are welcome the world..

  • 28 people legitimately prefer the who. nice song though.

  • 27 people are retarded.

  • @lincoln2ish Well whatever one's take on the song--your's,mine or his--it certainly captures a mood as it did mine.America seems to be coming 'undun' and a emphasis 'it's too late' brings a feeling of helplessness.

  • @lincoln2ish BTW this song works better as an analogy for America than say 'American Woman' which I don't care for.

  • @lincoln2ish That's the beauty of the lyrics and it's being subject to individual interpretation.I don't think it's so much a shallow, reactionary finger pointing to religion or a political party as it points to a broad societal mentality that's leading us to a downward spiral.America being a proverbial subject in the song in my interpretation( maybe the earlier poster's as well)After viewing the 'let him die' vid in the tea party debate,it's not entirely off-base.

  • @lincoln2ish Just as islamization(or ism) is sweeping the islamic nations of the world,America is facing it's own 'ism' in it's own politics, culture, etc.although at a slower,self-destructive rate. The song's verses really do fit with America as the analogy.

  • This would be good in Glee.

  • @rmtmiller Glee sucks bro =/

  • @DestinyThrawn , you are a tunnel vision kind of person. Glee doing this song would be great. If you can't think it through then, well, okay. Peace out.

  • Grand.

  • it was too late it is too late

  • just sssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhth UP iv had enough just deal with your SICO your both compatable Good Bye for ever!!!

  • they used to play this song when i worked at lowe's and after hearing it so many times i started to like it, now i listen to this damn song everyday. damn you lowe's!!!!!

  • Randy Bachman is truly one of the greatest song writers to come from north of the 49th, or south of it for that matter. The Guess Who really had terrific studio production and add the voice of Burton Cummings...

  • very classic

  • One of only a handful of Billboard Top 10 hits with a jazz guitar backing...and flute solo....classic.

  • For you children, song was written about Art Linkletter's daughter after she committed suicide. Depressing, but still a great song.

  • @hax9215 Isn't all the great music depressing? ^^

  • @TheModCon , no.

  • @rmtmiller Lawl what great music isn't? inb4 The Beatles -.-

  • a masterpiece

  • I have always loved this band, ever since I was a little girl...........they are the best .

  • This group is awesome!! What's not to like?!!

  • Saw them at the Syracuse back in '71. Far-out. Had a cool, unique sound you couldn't mistake for anyone else. We sure could use a new mother nature these days.

  • 26 people are Fromps! They fart in the bathtub & bite at the bubbles! LOL

  • My dad played this all the time when I was little. I think this and CCR were his 2 favorites... good music

  • the most under-rated band ever. it's so hard for canadian bands to get any recognition.

  • The music of the Guess Who is as current and relevant today as it was when it was first recorded. Today after dealing with one 15 year old the only song that I felt that I could handle was Undun, because with the way the world and the teenagers of today are, this is one of the only way I can deal with her.. If we had acted as entitled as the teens of today do , I doubt that I would have had as a good a relationship with my parent as I did.

  • Great vocals.

  • The Guess Who had quit making hits by the time I was born, and they are easily in my top 5 of all time! Then again, I appreciate REAL music. Musically and lyrically, this group cannot be undun! Love the flute solo!

  • Digging the James Bond-esque bass line. Great song.

  • hippy classic 70's

  • @newwavechic Song was released in 1969 lol

  • I like this song a lot it sounds smooth, relaxing, and sensual.

  • I can't add any more than the above comments on this song. Just learned the chords a couple of years ago and it is musical prolific genius!!!! I was probably 5 or 6 when I recall first hearing this song on the radio. Another great vocal performance by the great BC and well constructed chords by RB.

  • When this song was played on the local radio I just love this band plus they were Canadian it made me believe that in Canada we do not all live in the forest (Fairy Tales). Bravo! Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman....The guy who changed music forever.

  • Awesome song...what's it about?

  • Smooth, cool, flawless: The Guess Who, Blind Faith, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Ten Years After, Procol Harem, etc.... WONDERFUL!!! Thanks Uploader.

  • Another 1 of my favorites!

  • I really dig this one! OMG I love Burtons' voice on this one.Too cool!

  • BURTON CUMMINGS is coming to Albany July 7 ! cant wait !!

  • I cannot understand how someone could not like this song....

  • @toch482 me too saw him live with Randy Bachman and it was a really great concert

  • To many churches! Same today as it ever was. Tea Party is trying to rule. Think. Listen before it is to late.

  • @lrinax lolz kay bro

  • @toch482 In my view, a perfect Pop 40 composition -- great vocals by Burton Cumings, Incredibly tight jazz accompaniment, and a lyrical hook you can't ignore.

  • @toch482 I think some people just want to be different.

  • Dig that sexy flute.

  • haha i was singing this song so loud in my moms car learning how to drive and she looked at me like "wtf are you doing and why is this on so loud" lol im like "mom its 2011 im 19 ill listen to this song no matter how old and what year it is!!" she just laughed at me like i was crazy <3

  • @ILoveMyWittleTeaCup Who learns how to drive at 19?

  • @silentyp3 uh, a lot of people? Not EVERYONE gets their learners permits right at 16.

  • @silentyp3 Oh im sorry last time i checked it was ok to learn to drive when the learner felt they were ready to get behind the wheel! im sorry i wasnt just a bit younger.

  • excellent music. i knew a few gals like that,, yikes! i'd sing a few lines from this song and zep's livin' lovin' she's just a woman to one of them and she'd get pissed at me 'cause she knew i was singing 'bout her, lol

  • Wow,this song is haunting me,its probably a message from the universe,my band UNDUN keeps having strange things fall into our laps,a trail of undeniable bread crumbs. The question is,are we being baited/tempted or are we being lead towards our destiny.I hope its not too late...I prey we do the right thing. Our intended goal is to seek truth and awareness, but I have a feeling we are bringing a warning of judgment and wrath.

  • Great classic. I think it came out in '69.

  • So... Being born in 1990 and had no idea who The Guess Who were. Local record store in Atl was selling vinyls for a dollar. Picked up what I thought was Stanley Clarke and a big band record. Slip out Clarke and it's... The Best of the Guess Who? Throw it on and let my finger slip upon a random track on the B Side. Something.... Smooth and funky occurred... I must say... Quite groovy.

  • @dontfront08 That's real karma!

  • Timeless song, a great Canadian classic! Thanks for posting :)

  • very sophisticated pop song at the peak of what came to be known as classic rock

  • I love this song! I love Burton Cummings!!!!

  • I love the song but i love Brandon!!! i love himmm

  • Randy has given credit to Lennie Breau for teaching him Jazz chords and it really shows through this fantastic tune!

  • Great how they use all the jazz elements: rhythm, flute, scatting, quik ending —my favourite Guess Who Song.

  • @keener99M hey man check out my channel for a song called tangent part 1... after the intro, the first three chords i play always remind me of this song and then it goes into a jazzy feel you might like it... i dont know why it reminds me of this song there so different

  • One of my favourite Canadian bands...true legends!

  • Great song, I've heard this song on the Classic Rock station on Music Choice and they played the version with the intro and I would have never guessed it was Guess Who's "Undun" by the intro

  • @tamerswan - such hostility! you think your "savior" approves?

  • (((((((IT WAS TOOO LAAAAAAAAAAATE!))))))))

  • I've always thought this song sounded unique, incorporating Jazz stylings.

  • fantastic work from the Great White North, love how the flute was integrated into the song........

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH! Wow... talk about a time warp!!! I Love This Song! I'm so grateful for you having reminded of this song that I loved so much!

  • the drums are really superb too

  • I love Canadian bands like this!!! Canada has some of the best talent in the world!!!

  • The flautist is much better than that BungHole In The Jungle guy who prances around in his green panties and tights

  • @DancingSpiderman The flautist is also the vocalist, Burton Cummings.

  • @gvbezoff I guess Burton had a good method of keeping his facial hair out of his flute. Them's is some hairy cavemen.

  • I've just recently gotten into The Guess Who and downloaded their entire discography. What I've noticed is that they are incredibly eclectic. More than most bands.

  • undone !?

  • Beautiful words and music priceless.

  • This song was made for Tina fly with the Angles sweetheart Love You Forever~

  • Cummings voice is so beautiful. Flawless track.

  • They got the courage to be drunken buffoons, which makes them poetic.

  • StoneyMcJuicyBuds . . . here's the deal My Friend!!! They were originally named

"Chad Allen and The Impressions or Expressions" . . . too tired now to remember

which!!! ANYHOW . . . Radio Stations Wouldn't Play Their Music ... kinda a weird

... jealous thing . . . a Canadian thing!!! SO, when they released their next song ...

they just put "GUESS WHO?" on the record AND, they were played!!!

  • Canada's best band

  • @mrblurblur2003 If Quebec wasn't part of Canada, I'd agreed with you so bad! :D

  • its about a girl who did acid and did not come back to reality I heard Randy talking about it on cbc radio

  • @aarstitt supposedly about Art Linkletters daughter..

  • These cats should have came up with a better name for the band, they would have been a lot more sucessful.

  • @StoneyMcJuicyBuds ...The Legends..."THE GUESS WHO"...Man I just think they were "MEGA STARS", and without this name, "WOW" I just can't imagine them "NOT" being the Guess Who... I just literally wore out two of their eight tracks in college days.. You must not have been in college in the early 70's or you would "CHERISH" these Rock Legends as the Guess Who... Totally an "ICONIC name" and Totally an "ICONIC" group...And the "Voice"...Burton Cummings Jr. and the "MEMORIES" of the 70's..

  • @StoneyMcJuicyBuds They were called CHad Allan and the Expressions originally. They also wouldn't get air time on the radio because they were Canadian. The producer then put 'Guess Who" on the record (Shakin all over) so that stations wouldn't know who they were, the result? THey were played everywhere and left the public guessing who this band was. It was quite the marketing ploy and it worked.

  • this song just comes together for me. a singer who can belt it out and musically awesome

  • "She found a mountain that was far to hight, and when she found out she couldn't fly Mamma it was too late !!" Favourite part. Duno why just is. :)

  • Describes My Wife 2 a T

  • It's brilliant!

  • It's. So. Beautiful.

  • more people should listen to the words of this song. I've come UnDone! By the time anyone realized it, it was too late!

  • perfect

  • love this song!!!! and the pics are perfect for it..great video

  • Pretty amazing, a group of young kids could write a tune like that. Pure class!! This tune will sound awesome to people 100 yrs from now.

  • pretty amazing , a group of young kids could wrie a tune like that. pure class11

  • The most magnificent work to come out of Canada.

  • Along with Moondance, this was the tune that pushed me into jazz.

  • From a personal taste standpoint, I never liked Burton Cummings voice BUT, this is a smooth, sweet, jazzy, tune. He's tolerable in this one. Probably my favorite Guess Who song

  • thumbs up listen to this everyday xD

  • thumbs up if you got goosebumps at the flute solo

  • @youresooookewlll

Was going to say there's a flute in this?

    But, yeah, there is.

The flute doesn't give me goosebumps.

    Randy Bachman's guitar does.

  • Mature record for a couple of 20-somethings.

  • 21 people have come undun.

  • THEY ALWAYS COME UNDONE..AS A MATTER OF FACT I THINK THEY ARE BORN UN DONE

  • one of my favorite bass lines...still stands the test of time

  • I've come undone lol

  • 1:18-1:57 Sounds like James Bond
