That's one thing that we never saw in SG-1 and that was Prometheus or Odyssey going one on one with a Ha'tak. Always disappointed me that these ships were initially built to fight the Goa'uld and they never really showed a ship to ship battle with them. Unless I missed an episode somewhere where it happened.
the Prometheus (or the F-303) looked just wrong. The Deadlus, Appollo, Oddesey and the Pheonix (only shown in one episode at near end of SGA season 4) Look cooler (they are F-304)
@jamohanleva Actually the Prometheus is the X-303 and the Daedelus class ships are X-304's, F was only used for the X302 prototype, the F-302. And also i think the only reason the Prometheus took so many shots from Anubis' mothership was for it to be able to almost ram it, so basically just because it was in the script.

For an attempt this movie was ok, the prometheus doesn't shoot laser beams like the Ori or Goa'uld do, they fire missiles and rail guns. Could use a little more texturing, and the hyperspace timing was off :D.
Prometheus could probobly not destroy a mothership on its own but it did destroy an Alkesh ship. Didn´t the asgard give the prometheus asgard weapons and shields you never see anything like that.

@Eraser6422 Have to agree. All indications in the later seasons where that tau'ri ships had surpased the goauld; they were afterall, designed around Asgard technology. Its even stated in New Order that the Pormetheus could take on three hataks. Th3 F-304's probobally increase this ratio even more. Watch the season nine finale and see how much more durable the F-#04's were than Hataks.
A multi Gigaton explosion on a Goa'uld mothership should destroy it. Probably Promie's best defense would of been rining those weapons onto the Hatack itself..
Not as much human ship to ship combat in stargate anyway but that´s good. Seeing them use alternatives to beat the bad guy actually keeps the show from becoming like Star trek.
In Atlantis they had more space battles showing the human weapons.
