  • you're a saint

  • idk why i'm watching this :P have rb3 pedal with metal brace already on it. future reference i guess ;) nice guide

  • @MrNaturerune i bought 1 of those universal pedals and it broke with in a week literly in half waaaaaaay worse than this case ={

  • Good ideea dude....good advice....."but you wanna do , you wanna do, what you wanna do , we gonna do , what you wanna do , what we wanna do.....wanna do wanna do wanna do" thing is fcking retarded......And what you wanna do...

  • haha 4:20 :)

  • did something simular to my pedal, made it heavier and combined with the heavy hitting it craked the part with the pin that rotates

  • now i obviously wanna do something else cause i obviously got a braindamage due to all this obvious actuality...

  • your accent makes me laugh.

  • I'm an adult, I gave a present to my 7 years old nephew, I made a Club Penguin Rock Band!

  • fuck yes you are god-like

  • Obviously.. Obviously.. Obviously.....

  • T he second one broke onthe bottom frame which sucked even more

  • Obviously..

  • this shit is indestructable

  • wow, and¿what precautions i have to take so the normal plastic pedal doesn't broke?

  • kool i was rocking out to hard

  • my foot pedal broke even though i did this!? WTF!!!

  • DAAAAAAAAAAAMMNNNNNN

  • i had a rb2 stock pedal.... and the orange mechanism thinger majigger broke. it split in 3. how do u fix that? i used super glue and this wierd looking glue thing.

  • Your voice reminds me of Ray from Everybody loves Raymond.

    Cool vid man.

  • lmao yeah

  • where did you get the aluminum or scrap metal? and it kind of looks taky with all those screws... but all in all it was cool

  • my first solution was duct tape :P

i put like over 10 layers of duct tape

    and now it works

but the bad thing is that its very uncomfortable...

  • awesome gonna try this out sometime as for wearing goggles ya its imporant cause the drum stick could fly out of your hand and hit you in the eye lmao nah kidding great vid man.

  • he was talking about the process of repairing not playing

  • uh sarcasm dude

  • What you wanna do is Rate this viideo 5 stars because it's cool!!

  • goggles?!

  • the pedal got cooler to ^^ but 4/5 just becous im swedish and cant buy that kind of glue :(

    srry m8

  • Hey, i'm from sweden as well... I think it's "Superlim" that he's using.

  • How much would this cost. I dont have plastic welder or any of these materials really so can i get and approximate price. Im trying to decide on whether to buy a new special one or fix my broken one.

  • That's excellent. Mine's recently broke and I'm gonna do this.

  • your still a virgin and u play rock band

  • JCad38

You are an ignorant ass hole who has nothing better to do than to call out other people for things you dont even know are actually true

first of all get your facts straight before you make yourself look like a jack ass

second leave this guy along he is just trying to help people. he only has good intentions

nobody wants to read your negativity

  • omg this sux compared 2 wat i did. i made a whole new aluminium kick pedal, instead of the plastic, i only used 3 bolts, and i counter sunk them so they dont stick up, and then i used diamond plate on top. dont mean 2 be harsh but mine will NEVER break again. but now my drum pad broke =(

  • I did this yesterday... thnx for the instructions!!!

  • obviously.

  • haha, everything seems just so obvious lol.

    he said obviously alot. obviously.

good fix, but I'm gonna go w/ summin much simpler, like wraping it in duct tape w/ 2 dinner nives on the underside.

  • Tape is much eaiser. And it will break everytime you put your foot on it, So be sure to have alot of tape.

  • im not trying to be mean to the guy

but he said "wear safety gear while playing...like goggles".

sorry dude but no one wants to be a weirdo wearing goggles while playing a video game

    haha

    nice fix though

  • he means put goggles on while making it lol

  • thats so stupid...like its a great idea for the diamond plate...but how many screws do you need?....Jesus Christ...and epoxy on top of it...see...what you need to do is...put 3 rivets in and forget about it!

  • The problem with this is the metal screws will eventually "hollow" out the plastic pedal and come loose. believe me, its happened to me. This is a good temporary fix though.

  • DIAMOND PLATE FTW!!!!

  • what if you don´t wanna do it?

  • "what you wanna do is"

  • i got a rockband 2 kit for Christmas but my pedal broke at the park where the pedal conjoins with the bottom, snaps right off at the rod the rockband 2 pedal already has this modification, with a cool pattern too. i used duct tape but it is not the same, anyone have and suggestions on how to fix it?

  • I don't think it needs that many holes. A few rivets along the pedal works just fine. I guess near the break you would need more. I put only like 5 rivets on the pedal. I suppose it is just preference.

  • man speak english weaint got shit u talked about

  • With that diamond plate on it, it actually looks pretty cool too.. Nice method to fix it good vid

  • might as well just buy 2 new ones with the money u spent on those materials goof ball

  • Hes not a goofball because those 2 other foot pedals are going to break and it's going to cost even more when he decides to use this method afterwords where as if he does this method the first time he doesn't have to Buy any more pedals. =P nice vid btw

  • u talk fast

  • lol u need to wear goggles haha right....

  • when u use a grinder i hoper u wear some...

  • Very nicely done!!

Its just i hate rock band

    I only like guitar hero!

  • this is probably the best repair for rockband pedals. its expensive for a repair a cheap ass piece of plastic but u won't be replacing this pedal(if u do it right that it). plus it makes it look bitchin

  • I bought a new pedal and broke it last year and I did this yesterday and the pedal seems indestructable now.LOL

  • lol..i just bought mine last friday and broke mine yesterday..damn expert mode requires you do hit that thing so much. And I was not even stumping on it. When I get a new one, I am going to mod it with what this guy did :)

  • if i buy all this and then when he says well what you wanna do

if i dont wanna do it does this mean ive completely wasted money and time on this douchebag

    that guy is lame as

  • What stores can you buy rock band pedals from and how much are they?

  • no stroes sell them sepertaly u need to get it replaced by Harmonics or buy one off like ebay or some website

  • where can i buy sheet metal??????

  • can I do first step with super glue?

  • Good video instructions, but why goggles?

  • so you don't get the glue in your eyes..sheesh lol

  • So the glue could actually fly into my eyes when I'm playing Rock Band? lolol

  • why the hell goggles?

  • Goggles are to prevent pieces of metal from getting in your eyes when you're cutting the sheetmetal.

  • Haha put the pedal to the metal. lol.

  • that would hurt ur foot after a good 4 hours of playing...

  • Caution: this could kill you!

  • someone needs to count how many times he says "what you wanna do is..."

  • He says it 11 times. I counted. lol.

  • muchas gracias...i couldnt sleep

  • Thats quite a lot of times to say one phrase in a video that is 4 minutes long.

  • just so you guys know this is a temporary fix. I did something similar with mine and 2 weeks later the pedal has now broken at the hinge. -.-

  • good video but u say obviously to much

  • wouldnt the screws just fall out?

  • lol its probably ganna feel weird when you step on it

  • god dam those are alot of screws just to put it on the foot pedal :P would seem better to just put it around the edge and only put it from like 1/4 of the plate away from the bottom and that should be enough >.>

  • Are you sure that is what I want to do?

  • lol 3:16 lol funny

  • fangblade24- Lol I agree :D

  • lmao 1:40

  • Ha ha, that's funny, my dad did that for my pedal, since he works at a steel warehouse.

Kinda wish you did this instead though, mine's screwed in lop-sided :S

  • you say obviously way too much

  • doing all that = retarded

buying destroyer pedal for like 50 bux so it really does NEVER break again = priceless

  • too bad the destroyer is $79.99 PLUS shipping...

  • Why don't you just use super glue that sounds like a great idea

  • sheet of metal= $15

    epoxy= $8

    dremal tool= $20

just being fucking patient for 2 weeks=pricelss!

  • use mighty putty it works great

  • lol.

  • I want 4:19 of my life back thanks post it through the mail! I'm just gonna go get the butterknives and duct tape! Jesus Christ! "And now what you wanna do is" SHUT THE HELL UP FFS!!!

  • nice vid-but u say obviously too much

  • that is so sick

  • "And now what you want to do is..." YA NOW WHAT YOU WANT TO DO IS SHUT THE FUCK FUCK UP AND STOP SAYING THAT!!!

  • This Is Way To Complicated.!!!!

Imma Go Get The Duck Tape And Butter Knifes.!!!

  • haha you left out some of the supplies haha i guess you had an adult do it for you jk haha thnks now i can fix mine thnks much

  • "what you wanna do is. . ."

rock band 2 has a kick pedal like this

  • hey regular rockband drum set supports it so why spend extra 180$ just for new instruments u arent going to use?

  • because they're better, and u can have your old ones for backup or sell them

  • uhh..dremel?

  • why didnt u just use the plastic welder to just put it back together... lol

  • the plastic welder will only bind it togeather. the part were you put it back will be a weak area and may break again, causing youanother inconvinence

  • isaacgallardo22

"why safety goggles what the hell im not gunna shatter my drum sticks sending tiny bits of wood into my eyes, jesus"

    dragonforce782

"dude, he means wear saftey goggles WHILE u are fixing it."

    OMG LOL!!!!

Can you imagine...sparks of metal all over in your face while playing Rock Band lol

  • dude he just wants a really strong pedal lol

its just about industrial strength now

  • seriously i think i would just buy a new one before going through all that!!! I think the new pedal is metal

  • all this work to fix a bass pedal for a video game!?!? get real...

  • I know right?

  • did you really need 30 screws?

  • dude...... just get some metal and just cut it out in the shape of a pedal and screw it on the pedal......not that hard

  • lol

  • lol good plan but ot many people have practically a whole metal shop at home lol

  • home depot

  • Personally i would countersink the sheet metal and use the corresponding screws, would look much better, possibly rivets but thats just me :)

  • This is the most ridiculous video I've ever seen. "We will be going to use a dremel tool to cut this (silence) oh look its magically cut

  • he stopped the shot and continued once it was done to save time on the vid retard

  • omg no way how did you tell?

  • well youre the one claiming it was magic and saying the vid is stupid...

  • I just thought it was hilarious no need to get so offended

  • "The metal is ready to be placed over the pedal and be screwed" *absolute silence*

That was the most hilarious thing I've heard today. Isn't this supposed to be under comedy? xD

  • Lol, I was going to write that comment, xD, I was also laughing when I heard him say that, lol.

  • xD i was sitting outside when i heard that, and as SOON as he said it, a couple crickets started chirping xD

    priceless

  • Lol, i guess time just froze for those 3 seconds he said that.

  • I did the same thing, but you used a shit load of screws. I used six two at the top, two in the middle, and two on the bottom. Mad easier and anyone can do it if you have some old material.

  • you talk funny.

  • I took a small piece of wood, about 2 inches long. I ducked taped that 2inch piece of wood under the 2 broken pieces. It works fine, for now...

  • is it true that the rock band instruments are less likey to break if u got rock band recently?

  • no i got rock band a few weeks ago and the petal broke :( but the guitar and mic is still ok

  • im going to america on the 29th of july, do u think i should get rock band cos i really really want it, i live in england.

  • yea its a fun game but be warned the guitar n drums sometimes break easy

example 1,drums) my foot pedal broke while i waz playin

example 2,guitar) my cousins fret board on the guitar broke

  • no because of compatablility, it wont work on an xbox manufactured to play in europe or anywhere else, if i were u id wait till u get back but ur already there now so theres no point in me tellin u this and ur probably gonna buy it, attempt to play it but because of your console being european and the game being american it wont work

  • my dad did this for me, but the bottom snapped in half again and he put the same medal as that on the sides so its stability is very good, so trust me it might break again.

  • why safety goggles what the hell im not gunna shatter my drum sticks sending tiny bits of wood into my eyes, jesus

  • HAHAH that's the FUNNIEST SHIT I've heard ALL day

  • you need to mention how long the screws should be because the plastic pedal is very thin and larger screws will go right through the bottom.

alternatively, to avoid all this work, use the butter knife repair system.

  • At the end He says were ready to play rockband then says safety goggles should be worn?? I never wear safety goggles while playing rockband... But maybe I'll start.

This is actually a cool vid. But I think the screw holes will severely weaken the remaining plastic on the pedal.

But all and all cool vid. I like when people share their ideas on how to fix things.

  • "to make sure that the plastic welder is smoo-. K were moving right along"

    i lol'd right there

  • lol me 2

  • where could i get the metal

  • lol, he said the metal was ready to be screwed.

  • LOL! BAHAHAHA!

  • it works but its not cumfy

  • fuck audlts ill do it

  • saftey gear goggles said at the end? shouldnt that be at the beginning or do i wear them while playing. lol. good tut. im going to try it out.

  • wow... looks like a lotta work

  • Is it just me or does he say obviously and What you wanna do is, a lot.

  • "placed over the pedal...and screwed"

  • "obiviously" and fookin "watcha wonna do is" you make me so angry with those >:£

  • yeah mine fell apart again

  • you say smooth funny haha smewthh

  • that is the coolest pedal evar! where could i get a precut peice of dimond sheet metal shaped and sanded for my pedal? i suck at that stuff

  • You could always ask some hardware store to do it for you

I'm sure if you pay them they will cut, sand and fix it to your pedal

  • hey i did the same thing but i took the pedal right off without breaking it ?? why doesnt it work?

  • its because the the foot pedal works as a magnte on the bootom of the bit you took of there was a magnet its in the orange bit.

  • damn did he use enough screws

  • Did he say at the end to use goggles?

  • when your working on the pedal

  • if that breaks you wont be able to repair it and harmonix or whoever wont be able to replace it your much better of with the stick tape mods.

  • nice. my pedal is held together by Gorilla Glue, PVC Plastic, and screws. it looks yours looks better though lol.

  • sweet. hey can you do this even though its not broken? it looks cool to have a metal bass pedal.

  • I think thats a very good idea. If I would've thought of this earlier I would have definitely done it also!

  • if you put that may screws in the plastic wouldent it make it very brittle?

  • mine still hasn't broken yet.

  • for the 1st step, you can just use duct tape or any other strong tape, if you can afford it, use gorilla tape.

  • THANKS MAN MINE WORKS PERFECT NOW!!

  • might as well just do this all before the pedal ever breaks

  • good plan

  • That really helped me thanks.

  • yay 1000th VIEW!~

  • This was in Gameinformer

  • yea like every one has got a dremil tool
