The military released a statement saying the recording it made public on June 4th had been edited to remove context around offending statements and claimed the radio exchange was with the Mavi Marmara, but in the recording the voice of flotilla organizer Huwaida Arraf is heard. Arraf was not on the Mavi Marmara and was on a smaller passenger boat in the flotilla, the Challenger One.

In the "unedited tape," the Israeli officer is heard radioing the Defne Y, another of the Turkish-owned ships, not the Mavi Marmara. The Israeli military also did not explain the discrepancy between the video released on June 4th, and the one it released on May 31st, which depicts the same Israeli soldier apparently contacting the Mavi Marmara over the radio, in which the "Auschwitz" and 9/11 comments do not appear.

The promise is firstly made to Abraham by God (Genesis 15:18-21) and then renewed to his son Isaac, and to Isaac's son Jacob (Genesis 28:13), Abrahams grandson and to all their descendants and off springs. The descendants and of springs of Abraham also include Christians and Muslims but Mainstream Jewish regard the promise made to Abraham as having been given to all Jews only.

@ArasheKamanGeer, Muhammad was an Arab. Arabs were descendants of Ishmael, not Isaac. Also, Christians in the west are descendants of those, who converted to Christianity. The promise was made to Jews only. Christianity began as a Jewish sect and evolved into its own religion. So the Jews, who formed Christianity, were defecting from the Jewish nation and were therefore no longer part of the convenant. There are Christians, who are allies of Jews. But I'm just stating the facts.

Since Abraham is a founding father of not only the Israelites, but also Ishmaelites (Ishmael was the ancestor of Arab people), Edomites (people from southern Jordan) and Midianites (areas in northwest Arabia on the east shore of the Gulf of Aqaba) then the promise land goes to all those including the Arabs as well. So from biblical perspective that you refer to the land does not just belong to Jews. Fuck U
