Just finished watching this movie and each time the ending is so beautiful that it makes me cry. Wish I could have a happy ending like that with a clone of Jack.  Both Jack & Helen were superb! It's boxing day so I'd better dry up the tears and do some tidying up from Christmas Day.

i like how at the end melvin just starting acting more normal and his OCD was gone just like that which comes to show he had it because inside he was unhappy and since he was always alone he got used to it and he became fed up with people and the world but once he found love with carol he felt no reason to be unhappy anymore and he felt he had a future with her

One little tidbit here that I like is that it's a realization of Melvin's "You make me want to be a better man" scene at dinner in Baltimore. After the 1st kiss he "wants to be a better man" and comes through. Though we can only guess how they made out in the "future", that little tidbit portends good fortune for them!
