There are 85 sharia courts in the uk, i couldnt care less but if people are worried by that then they have evry right to protest, it's just how it is in a democracy.

I didn't put those words in your mouth, you said them yourself. I agree that these people have every right to protest, but I think that a group like the EDL who victimise ethnic minorities, scapegoating them for wider social problems are disgusting. Most EDL members are anti-muslim, not just anti-extremist. I hate islamic extremists as much as anyone, but I also hate right-wing extremists. Their actually quite similar really.

Im not a fan of the edl, i would more than happily say if i was but white working class people have been ignired for a long time in england and it was only a matter of time before something like this happened, i think they should find a better way than getting drunk and chanting edl but its no worse than what the left wing groups do. @Liam2621 According to their leadership, thye are not a racist group. However while most EDL rallies involve completely racist behavior from a majority of the protestors... I would consider them a racist group. I agree with you though, this kind of movement has been inevitable for a long time and i'm suprised it hasn't happened sooner. I can understand people's frustration, but its wrong to scapegoat minority groups for large social problems.
