  • tilt the whole thing upright vertical where the gate fails then let gravity swing the arm down the other side building up momentum down to the start then whole process gets repeated?

  • the force required to lift it would cancel out the force gained by dropping it.

  • u sure?

  • i did, and it didn't :<

  • so why didn't you try to see if you could make it keep spinning?

or did you and it didnt?

  • you need two magnetic swithches both with polarity opposites a row of magnets in each one it needs to flip over when it reaches the end of the V then it should be attracted to continue or try to stretch one v around in one full circle

  • good experiment....

  • it wouldnt take much to change the polarity with electricity would it? because they did that on this roller coster i think

  • that depends. if you have an electromagnet as the driver, you kinda defeat the purpose of using permanent magnets. I suppose you could just have a rotating thingy at the 'station' or whatever. and that roller coaster is something completely different.

  • try making a full circle and see if it keeps spinning

  • it could mke your car move dumbass its called E N E R G Y

  • oooo how..... umm.... wat dus it do agan besids nuthing

  • similar technology used in existing roller coasters. Like super man the ride, except they use electromagnets that can be turned on and off.

  • Set the V-gate to look like ">>>>>" in the circular path , that counter weight on the back is novel and possible crucial to its continuous function...great job!

  • not bad. now continue the rotation yo.

  • Well said, but don't attack.

Your understanding speaks for itself, now how about going to the edge of that understanding, where the laws may not be laws?

  • K'nex ftw!

  • make 4 disc high with magnets on each level but offset to keep it going.

  • JAJAJA wn con brillo..bien ahi

  • Honestly, the only way to make this work would be with magnet shields and tilted magnets.. both of which i don't feel like investing in. feel free to build off of this idea if you want.

  • thats clever, looks like it comes out with enough force to make it into another gate. Now make it go in a full circle

  • it doesn't. I tried making it do so, but it just defies the laws of physics.

I was more thinking that you would like, put this in a train, so the force used to flip the magnet would be more efficient than when you'd have to power it all the way through.

  • defies the laws of physics. haha. funny. you dont even know the laws of physics. that doesnt even fit in.

  • Dude... its kinda simple. Any energy you get from the magnets will have to be used to overcome that same force the next time around, and friction amongst other things subtracts energy to begin with. It simply will not work unless you use an opposing perendev design, but even with that, the magnets will wear down. This proves the nonexistence of perpetual energy. And for god's sake,

  • please do not use youtube as a way to profess your so-called 'intelligence', because no one cares what a cyber genius you are if you can't get a girlfriend in real life.

  • HAHAHA!!!!

  • ...hahahah, i just realized how hypocritical my statement was.... a year ago.
