  • do a reviwe on a ruger p95

  • Just wondering, how much money did you drop on this? How much would one cost?

  • Colt following, no pun intended! I am working on a supressed 4inch SBR with a cmmg 9mm upper, can't wait!

  • I just pick one up yesterday I'm not a big fan of 9mm but I guess it's a start & it's good just 2 have !

  • So this begs the question, is there any fundamental difference between this and the Thureon Defense 9mm carbine? I'm assuming you can slap a 5.56 lower receiver on this. Maybe that's the difference.

  • Why is the mag well still so large though?

  • @SilvianoJ because its a normal ar lower

  • @SilvianoJ I'm sure it's so the lower isn't dedicated to 9mm. If you left the magwell small, it wouldn't be able to accept 5.56/.223 magazines.

  • @SilvianoJ Or I could be wrong, after looking at it.

  • Thank you very much Mr.Hickok45

  • I think a lot of people are too quick to discount that 80% fun. When people say "what's the point in this? why own that?" It makes me question how much they enjoy shooting.

  • Hickok45, I always love your videos. But was your camera man afraid he was going to ware out his zoom, he needs to remember his eyes capture much more than the camera. It would have been nice to actually see where some of those shots were hitting. keep up all your videos. thx again.

  • I have one, its pretty good. An Uzi loader will not work, there is a speed loader made for the colt AR 9mm

  • I bought one of these, too, last spring- same model from Colt Defense - after wanting one since I first read about them in 1986 or so. I agree - it's a ton of fun even though many would argue that it's a waste of an AR platform. All I have to say is just shoot one. Mine doesn't feed hollowpoints well, either - at least the Federal BP load. Maybe a Remington Golden Saber would feed better because of its shape.

  • Kel-Tec Sub 2000, they make them to take Glock 17 and Glock 22 mags, as well as their extended counterparts. It's a really fun, reliable and best of all affordable carbine. Check them out, Hickok

  • Oh, yeah, that does look like fun. Hope to see you shooting this AR a lot more. I guess you could shoot more ammo with the 9mm and cost less then shooting the .223. I really enjoyed this video and may be a 9mm AR is something my girls might enjoy shooting.? Great video!

  • i like colt for every gun they made but this i think that they should have left 9mm to h@k's mp5

  • have u herd of a slide fire for any AR 15 it makes them full auto and is completly leagal

  • could any one ansewer the diffrence between a carbine and a simi auto

  • @EVILPIMP765 A carbine is a shorter lighter rifle easier to handle in close quarter situations and the slide fire stock does not make an AR-15 full auto it is a bump fire stock they make the slide fire for the AK platform too I believe

  • @EVILPIMP765 A carbine is just the name for a shorter more compact rifle for example the ar-15 a barrel 16" and shorter would be a Carbine and 18" to 20" and longer is a full sized rifle. Semi auto means only one round will fire per pull of the trigger, and full auto is more than one round fired per pull of the trigger. Hope that ansers that.

  • Love the "Duhh" :)

  • great channel mate!!

I love AR format....but 9mm is really plinko shooting :)

If I had a nice range like that I would invest in a Ar15 9mm carbine

    keep up the good work!!!

  • Life is good!

  • Have you ever used the slide fire stock??

  • @Hickok45 if you are looking for an AR style carbine that accepts Glock mags, there is one. It is called the Just Right carbine. Last I knew it was available in 9 and 40

  • You might like to check out the Hi-Point 995TS 9mm. Made in America 100% Life Time Warranty.

  • @toddred9 very decent firearm for the money

  • i had to trim uzi mags for mine

  • Hickok, I have learned so much from your videos. I swear, I know so much about my gun because of you. Being an amateur, I feel very confident in my ability to carry my gun safely. I'm taking my time and slowly learning (...because .40 ammo is expensive haha!).

  • Before viewing this,,, I really had my heart set on a M1 .30 Carbine.... It is in a local shop for around $500. Also, Beretta makes the tacticool CX4 Storm in 9mm/.40/.45ACP that accepts their pistol mags. I think the store has one of these AR15 types on the rack for over $1000. Really torn. It seems the .30 has a lot more punch

  • @ressikanflute You should look at the Kel Tec Sub 2000 ...they make them in 40 and 9 and they accept glock mags (they also make models that take beretta mags), so in 9mm you can use 33 rd mags, and at a reasonable price. I got one and never had an issue. Just a thought to consider and to compare to the CX4 maybe

  • very nice video! although i think my favorite configuration for an AR is the 300 AAC Blackout

  • high accuracy. wow.

  • i like this! they got 1 that shoots 45acp?

  • My friend has one just like this but his is made by Olympic arms, shoots the .40 and takes glock mags. I'm still jealous ....

  • u should put the 9mm supressor that you have on your glock on this

  • You wouldn't happen to know where One could get an A1 style upper in 9mm, Would you, Dearest Hickok?

  • hey hic all you need to do is make a reset target system some how and your good to go lol

  • @politicaltruth42 He has that. His son John. xD

  • i want that!!!!!

  • pepol thet complain a but small cal guns normaly cant aim ... if you can hit the target wher you want to its all the power you need

  • Good video Hickok45.

  • you should do a vid on slide fire stocks

  • you can get one of those that uses glock mags!!!!!!!

  • @WillLemax Yep Olympic arms makes them and Lone Wolf Distributors makes a lower

  • @monkeyboysxbox haha ya ok bigtime killer stfu

  • 9mm is good but when your trying to drop someone QUICK who is on drugs and shit you really have to be a good shot to have a quick reaction to aim for the head and hit the head. but plenty of fun

  • @monkeyboysxbox another 9mm hater. a shot in the tbox alone no matter how druged they are they will drop like a stone.

  • 9mm is by far the best pistol caliber carbine round. Its a lot easier on the wallet also.

  • I'd like to see it perform with a slide fire stock.

  • AR-15 and M16 is the same firearm?

  • @7150285 the ar-15 was originally designed tot be a base design from the ar-5 survival rifle, but the government requested that they be made for the armed forces, and different versions were made starting with the m-16 and CAR-15, and recently the m4 series. today an ar-15 is pretty much just a semi automatic civilian legal gun with the m-4 and m-16 design

  • I think the Colt SMG was originally designed to use UZI magazines.

  • Lol I swear that second can at 16:19 is already falling when Hickok shoots it! It's trying to get away! =)

  • weapon on safe

  • @jamesconn210 look at around 2:30 it shows that its not...

  • @CowFightsDragon yeah i was telling him to put it on safe

  • @jamesconn210 oh lo

  • That's a crazy looking butt stock.

  • Comment removed

  • Well, there is the sub2000 that uses glock magazines, so they do exist, just not made by glock.

  • Comment removed

  • Great video, iv been considering one of these. Keep up great work. Thanks.

  • the ol' cock45 makes it look so easy

  • @RES1ST0R fail

  • And my grandpa! I collect asg rifles.

  • if only you were my uncle..

  • i ove that gun exept that the 9mm mag is really ugly

  • Hickok45! That was another great vid! Maybe if you can ever get around to it you should shoot more pistol caliber carbines! The Numric or Auto-ordinance Thompson carbimes would be great to see you smacking steel and zombies with!!!! Best wishes and happy shooting friend!!!

    -ultimatehistorybuff1

  • there are glock carbine conversions, replaces the slide, made for most calibers/frames

use your glock lower and mags. no ffl.

G20 lower high cap 29 round 10mm... "yes they make them" and a carbine kit"= fun.

it would be awesome if you could get your hands on one and give it a review for us.

  • Just might have to have a 9mm AR now! haha

  • Is this an older gun or does Colt still make these for the civilian market?

  • hey hickok, you should do a video on the Ruger Mark III

  • do you own this now? hickok?

  • Very cool, looks like a fun one!

  • Big toys for big boys hehe

  • 45acp ar-15 that would be cool

  • Hickok, what would be your favorite handgun.

  • I used to have a STAG Arms AR15 in .556 and she was a beauty. Love these videos to! Make sure to fit in lot's of safety tips for the viewers. Shooting is best enjoyed when being most safe!

  • as always, great video, I have a storm carbine in 9mm and a lusa, living in town I need the 9mm carbines as they are rated for indoor range usage, total blast to shoot.

  • @wepntech I know about the sound of a MG42... but I was a compliment. The point is, I had no idea you could bump fire a gun that fast....

  • Where can I buy that stock??? Does it use mil or commercial tube?

  • Nice video sir, as usual.

  • It looks very cool but I'm cheap so I will probably wind up with a Kel-Tec Sub-2000

  • Comment removed

  • 15:35 Kel-Tec Sub2000 FTW!

  • Why we need a 9MM rifle ? the same reason we need a 22LR rifle. Speed & Accuracy + We CAN = FUN

  • The carbine that uses the common glock mag. Lets see some Kel-Tec P2000!

  • How does the 9mm in rifle format feel compared to the 223/556 in terms of recoil?

  • where can i buy a ar-15 .223/5.56 nato for a good/low price

  • @majorstuped Palmetto State Armory or Spike's Tactical or your local gun shop.

  • @majorstuped Search up bushmaster on google.

  • The keltec carbine sub2000 i think, uses glock mags for 9mm and .40...

  • I wonder what his budget on soda is.

  • can you do a video of the mossberg 100atr 308 or 30-06?

  • you the boss man

  • hickok45 do you think that a 9mm carbine makes a good home or self defense weapon

  • @kingd3001 Why would you want a 9mm AR over a traditional 5.56mm AR? The 5.56 is less likely to over penetrate with most ammo, MUCH more powerful and only slightly more expensive, I guess the 9mm would be easier on your ears indoors, but both rounds are going to damage your hearing if you fire it indoors without ear protection!

  • @XHustonProductionsX Because people that own a 9mm pistol may want a carbine with ammo compatibility. If SHTF ammo may become hard to find, if your handgun and long gun allow you to only carry 1 type of ammo allows you to not need to worry about how much of each. Also being able to have the benefit of a rifle battery of arms without needing to carry 2 types of ammo. It's a lot easier to conceal a 9mm pistol than a 5.56 "pistol".

  • @phobiarg 5.56 pistol is a joke, and if I am going to carry 9mm it would be a handgun! No point in carrying a bigger heavier weapon for no reason, I would grab the 5.56mm rifle first and if there was time and room, maybe a 9mm pistol... are you on crack? A 9mm AR for SHTF? Thats like grabbing a Barrett M82 or M107 for squirrel hunting LOL

  • @XHustonProductionsX If 9mm is a joke why do so many special forces and police departments use MP5s? 9mm is a perfectly acceptable caliber choice when shooting a soft target. I agree, 5.56 is a much more potent round. But don't discount a 9mm out of a 16" barrel, it's going to punch a hell of a lot harder than a a 9mm out of a 4" barrel.

  • 9mm are extremely FUN and easier on the pocket than 5.56/.223!

  • Damn, nice shooting.

  • this version is ungly...

  • I've been looking for a particular one for awhile, but I don't like that the magazines for the AR 9mm's, they're just too hard to find.

But the EMF Jr. Carbine, seems the way to go, uses Glock mags and comes in 9mm, 40, and 45ACP. I like the 9mm to go along with my Glock 26.

  • I would love to get one in .50 Beowulf

  • I had no idea you could get an AR-15 in 9mm...thanks for turning me on to this. I think it suddenly jumps to the top of my "must have" list. Great video as always!

  • you should try a sub 2000 from kel tech it uses glock mags.

  • Why no full auto???

  • @jack1is6back

    I wanna know the same!!!

  • The 9mm SMG with the go-fast switch is even more fun. :)

Have you ever dropped a loaded magazine? The cartridges go spewing out like the old snakes-in-a-peanut-can gag.

  • Can I make a request for a historic weapon? Like a Springfield, Mauser, Thompson, Grease Gun, Sturmgewehr 44? Or maybe a Walther P99, M40?

  • Do a Remington 760 video a pump rifle will spark peoples interest.

  • So awesome!

  • hickok could you do a vid on how to sight in an AR?? mainly the front sight??

  • Hey Mr Hickok.

I was wondering if you are familiar with a Steyr army rifle from 1889?

It is a bolt action rifle with a "tube" magazine. Same kind of magazine that most pump-action shotguns have. I´ve tried finding info on it on the web, but have had little success.

  • Nice!! I am about to spring for a 7.62x25 upper. Would you do a video of it if I let you borrow it?

  • bump fire fail, lol... great vid and interesting gun. but i'm never a fan of conversion guns. it didn't seem like they are engineered for the particular cartridge.

  • @rickylain in my mind, that's the only reason I own an AR. They are modular and can be engineered to fire whatever you want. I have 2 uppers, neither are .223 and both run flawlessly.

  • Do a video on the fn 5.7

  • love that gun! so accurate

  • Tell us more about "bump fire."

  • I fired one of thoses, but it had a 10'' barrle and was full auto

  • Hahaha. A "Colt" following.

  • Keltec has an affordable 9mm and .40cal carbine. the Keltec sub 2000. its is a really interesting "camper" or hiking carbine, considering you can fold it in half! its ultra affordable, the thing that really sold me on it was that it can accept sig and glock mags. so any sig or glock owner can take the mag out of their side arm and put it in their keltec sub 2000. now what would be really cool is an ar-15 that could fire the classic .357magnum. I WOULD SO BUY THAT!

  • that thing would be even more badass if it shot .357 magnum

  • @hickok45

PLEASE DO A VIDEO ON THE SMITH AND WESSON M&P 15-22! :)

  • That's a weird looking weapon.

  • What's the difference between a M16(AR-15) and a M4 ??

  • @AMCScarface M4 has select fire capabilities, and has a 14.5" barrel. An M16 is not an AR-15. M16 has 3 round burst and a 20" barrel. AR-15 is semi-auto and typically has a 16" barrel and no select fire capabilities.

  • @metalhead2508 thanks for the answer :D Someone told me, that the "AR-15" is the "M16-Version" for civilian sales... only the military use the "M16"...

  • I wish colt made this in .45 ACP.

  • @slt223 Buy the Hi-point carbine in .45acp. I have the 9mm version. Great gun for the price.

  • I wish colt made this in .45 ACP.

  • I don't know why somebody can dislike this video. Another nice work from hickok45. Your work is much appreciated.

  • Hickok, which model is that? It looks like a converted LE9620 to me. Also, are they just as reliable as your standard 5.56 AR?

  • The second AR that I built, I decided to go with a 9mm carbine. I used Rock River parts for the upper and it absolutely drives tacks. Video of it on my channel if you care to check it out. Not to mention it is extremely cheap to shoot (especially if you reload). A lot of people knock the 9mm cartridge, but with that carbine, you can drive headshots at 50 yards all day long. By chance do you use the C-Products magazines? I use them & really like them. Great video!

  • does anyone know how far away his gong is?

  • Want You buy DanWesson 6 or 8 ?

  • Want You buy DanWesson 6 or 8 ?

  • My wife wants one. I woldn't mind it either. lol

  • Comment removed

  • p.s. Keep up the good work - I think you create the finest online firearm videos that inspire fun, safe, and responsible shooting. Way to go!

  • I've found my youtube home!

This channel has GOT to drive the panty waste libtards absolutely insane! I love it!

  • which do you prefer the ak-103 or the m4a1?

  • i have been meaning to ask - what brand of ear protection are you using?

  • hey hickok have you ever done the battery of arms for the ar in a drill format id sujest u maybe look up c7/m16/m4 drills and practise them a few times i bet you could use maybe some blanks or duds or something on purpose to get it down to reloading in 3-9 seconds closer to 5 with yer experience id say and the rifles tend to require a lil more patience to realy be accurate i find, 2 points of ctrl make them more touchy but extremely effective with practice and maybe a good series

  • Another fantastic video. My wife cries everytime I'm watching you. She knows that it's just another on the list. It's okay, though, she's a photographer. He camera cost $1500, I think I'm pretty safe.

  • twin drum magazine on this would be awesome, say hello bullet storm

  • Where do you get all your 2 liters? Drink a lot of soda?

  • I've got the Kel Tec sub-2000 in 9mm, and I love it. I've modded the gun to have a regular sling on it (not the carry sling that's sold for the sub-2k), and I am having all kinds of fun with it! (I just avoided the obvious pun there. You're welcome.)

  • Oh, and the Kel Tec folds, so it can fit in a container the size of a briefcase. =)

  • I watched the whole video, and it seem that Hickok45 didn't mention about the barrel at all.

Since the rounds are 9mm, wouldn't that mean he need to change the barrel, since a standard AR-15 shoot 5.56mm round?

  • not hating at all but this seems like the dumbest rifle ever. I'm all about thinking outside the box, but this is just such a goofy load for this platform I find it incompetent and useless for anything more than a full size sub machine gun, not to mention totally unoriginal as far as pistol rounds for rifle platforms.

  • the kel-tec is ugly but makes more since i suppose

  • Thing has some recoil on it.

  • Hickok You are so good at showing how much fun shooting can be, while showing that guns themselves are nothing to fear, only the character of the person holding it...Thank You

  • is this your gun hickok?

  • @Nicho2177 , Yes.

  • @hickok45 why would you not want to shoot at a target at 5 yards with a 223? just seemed like an odd thing to say

  • @tubevideoguy762 RICOCHET ,could bounce and kiII you

  • @prnydecalle nope

  • @prnydecalle nope

  • @prnydecalle not at all
