All of USA and Canada (including Clarence Campbell) was pulling for them. Mr. Campbell was in the locker room prior to the start of the USSR/Flyers game telling the Flyers that the honor of the NHL rested in their hands. They played a rough but clean game by NHL standards, outshot them 49-13 and outscored them 4-1. To outshoot them 49-13, there must have been someone with skill to get 49 shots on the USSR's finest and score 4 goals along the way.

EVERYONE WAS NOT PULLING FOR YOU!!!! I don't like criminals & the Flyers were the worst of any sports Org. &@ 3:48, "We knew we were going to win". Yes, you knew you were going to win as long as you didn't have to play by the rules, & the other team gets penalties for just looking @ any one of those Fn Morons.

I guess you knew you were going to win when Clarence Campbell was in the dressing room @ game time. He probably said, ABSOLUTELY NO RULES TONIGHT BOYS, GO OUT & MURDER THEM!!!
