Richard Burns Rally was and is the best rally game ever. The simulation is incredible, plus the actual uneven roads with rocks, puddles, potholes, craters, mud etc... its just amazing how well the game captures the rough surfaces of rally.

Colin Mcrae games always had flat roads no matter where you were. The roads in Richard Burns actually have an arc to them like real country roads and actual rough and harsh roads.

colin mcrae's are arcade games and this is a simulation with proper physics. and this was made for ps2 and xbox, so is it a surprise that dirt has better graphics? the only reason why rally fans wouldn't prefer this over colin mcrae's is that they suck in this and like to win without making any effort for it.

I dont like the engine at all, its too much arcade for a simulation, you drive in a corner and you get automaticly almost right into the corner... they couldnt really make it right

I was a great colin fan since colin1 till 5but when I played RBR on ps2 after5min I turn off but next day I tryed again and (in 2004)couldnt belive what could RBR ofer you.One word THERE IS NO BETTER RALLY GAME then RICHARD BURNS RALLY .ALMOST PERFECT.The sound is arcade??/so get you a realistic sound mod*ignorant.And colins are just poor arcade game.Sorry thats the truth
