Common sense would dictate that if you saw something distressing you would high tail it out of there or at least make an attempt to get out of the way. The mom then says that she can't because the car will be wrecked (maybe she reached the end of the alley and it opened up onto a street?). At 3:00, the mother calls the police to report the car accident.
I love the way these two guys dealt with the driver. And I'm really glad driver decided to stop. Also, it's obviously a one-way street, so it's the Toyota driver's fault as well.

If the driver was innocent, wasn't it simpler to step out of the car, settle the whole issue with those crossed chaps, let them see the ID card, driving licence phone number in case of police investigation then go peacefully without driving into someone else? I don't get it.
