No reason except for I feel like it...my right not to be treated like sHHiTTT...if every lady looked homely then we wouldn't be able to differentiate ourselves...'nuff said
@LexFeather He didn't say be homely, there's nothing wrong with showing some skin, actually he said there's nothing wrong with it. I think his point is just be subtle about it, cuz that over the top look is... over the top. What he's saying is, if you decide to dress that way with the boobs and legs all over, don't get angry when the only kinds of guys you meet are only after one thing. That draws them.
Spandex pants are women's biggest example of trying to look sexy. That look to me, is more distracting than attractive, because it portrays that a woman is looking for some guy to hit on her merely because you can see everything outlined from front to back. Sorry for the short rant everyone.
I agree. You get what you give. You attract the same types as you. So when you don't attract the right type you want, you could adapt yourself to those types you like. I am not claiming though you should change yourself or your own identity for others but merely that you attract what you give (vibe, looks or feeling). However we should not forget the reason why these women dress and act like that. Because of insecurity and wanting to please and to be liked by men! So the coin goes both ways.
That's not what I really meant. I mean, guys can look like they want and still get attention from women. Why do we create such high standards with women? A lot of women are insecure that is why they hide behind make-up and clothes to be liked. They forget happiness doesn't come from others liking you or accepting you but from within yourself.
@royalsteven yeah but thats how women identify themselves in society, they are objects of beauty. A girl should look pretty if she is trying to attract a guy just like guys should look their best although its not as much of a requirement for men.
@royalsteven they might not, it might be more like cave man times were girls don't have to shave or really dress up nice, but thats what an advanced society like ours has stepped away from. I can't help but to have a certain standard for the girls I go out with and I'm pretty sure you do to. I'm not saying they should look slutty or anything but looking slightly sexy is ok.
@royalsteven But if you go over the top in anything you wont get a good reaction. If a guy has his shirt way unbuttoned with his chest hair out he's going over the top and people will think he's a douche. Over the top = bad. When a girl is in 20 degree weather with her legs showing with a short skirt guys with sense are like "Way over the top". it's the weirdos and horn dogs that require that over the top porn star look. You got guys all wrong.
Yes , but pretty is subjective. I am just saying not everyone has to be the same and look like each other. Be yourself, your own person, with own looks and idientity. Don't look or act a certain way because it is required by others. But that is what a lot of people (girls) do. Because they are insecure or afraid to be themselves or to be judged. Different cultures, different types. You attract the style or type you like. There is someone for everyone.
@royalsteven yeah thats probably true but thats a whole other subject on identity crisis. I was just saying girls should look sexy to some degree. And that could include all kinds of styles.
As a man i must say arkady is spot on. if i see a woman dressed provocatively , i dont think she is really beautiful and sophisticated. I just think about what sexual acts and fun i could have with her, she becomes a piece of meat.
how about making a video where the guy is with his girl / girlfriend. or wife and hits on you or stares uncontrollably at you. you notice him looking your way and he glances away, and then again as you pretend not to look, there he goes staring at you ... even while hes hugging her and kissing her ... so disrespectful! makes me want to approach him & tell her your man has been looking at me while kissing you... what do you think of this? .. lol. it def is a turn off! and i feel bad for his girl
It's called male privilege, and THAT'S why women are objectified and what needs to be eliminated/controlled. Men have the freedom to wear/act as they want b/c of biological/social advantages-they can't be penetrated by women, and they can't get pregnant/are usu. phy. stronger than most women, whereas women have to live with the constant threat of penetration/assault and getting pregnant. It's not womens' faults-it's men taking advantage of biological disadvantages; LEARN TO CONTROL YOURSELVES!!
@MATTHEW6332013 so women live in permanent fear and men get to do anything they want? and that's normal because it's been dictates by nature and society! Wow, I though we were in the 21th centery...
Women should have the right like everyone else should to express themselves through clothing. I think it's funny that lots of men will say "wearing revealing clothing and heels is sexy; covering up is granny like" but then turn around and call women who dress "sexily" whores and immodest; you can't have it both ways0that's a double standard. And again, blaming a women for being harassed is like blaming a rape victim for being raped b/c she drank too much-no one asks for that shit.
I agree with some of the other women who commented-excuses are useless. Men don't have to worry about what they wear or worry about being sexually harassed. Women are gonna be objectified regardless b/c of the simple fact that a lot of men are DOGS who refuse to control themselves. Blaming women for being harassed b/c of their clothing is blaming the victim, not victimizer; learn to control your fucking selves0-it's as easy as that-instead of trying to blame women adn control what they wear.
Ok I have worn jeans, a t-shirt, and heels, and men will still whistle inappropriately as i walk down the street, or they will still try to grind on me at a bar/dance club. Guys don't think with their brains, they think with their pants, and even if some of us wear little makeup and a simple t-shirt, we will still get harrassed. Maybe you should make a video directed towards guys about this.
I wish every woman I know could watch this. I agree with you totally. Enough of the galleries of self taken photos with the pouty lips! If I see a woman do that, I won't even bother pursuing her. Great video, sir.
in my opinion, this was your worst advice as what u said in this video is pretty obvious; but the real problem is when men objectify women who do not act or look in the way you mentioned in the video - you do not have to waer shorts or mini skirt or even a skirt and show your neckline to be objectified and hear unwanted sexual comments, I have experienced this and been a witness of many such situtations. And this is really annoying.
@OnyksGirl Yeah but it'll happen less if you follow his advice. Unfortunately guys are brainwashed by movies, etc. that it's funny and cool. There are a certain percentage of ignorants that will do it because of their own insecurities or whatever. Like arkady said, posting drunken hottie pics online will just attract THAT kind of guy. Or like those stupid kissie face pics taken with a cell phone...
@jchahine yes, I got the point. the problem is, as I said before, when you do nth like he mentions, eg. not wearing a skirt or dress, even high heels, AND your neckline is fully covered, and still such men bother you. and you do not have to be drunken to enconter such behavior. in my opinion, based on my and my female friends experiences I'd say that no matter how you look you have a chance to meet such guys. ofc if you wear miniskirt etc. you have even more chance. but still it's annoying.
