@M1GHTiETURK No Dyno, but it was probably only putting down about 100hp. It was pretty light though. Exit speed, momentum, and good brakes were the secret to speed with that car.
@fizzer82 awesome. we got a 2000 ford focus for $500 and will be racing this summer in this event. i cannot wait. did you guys practice at the circuit prior to the race? did you use any radios to communicate? any tips for some first timers? damn, so many questions...
@M1GHTiETURK We actually didn't do any practice before the race, but I do recommend doing some shakedown of the car beforehand to make sure there are no little issues that could cost a lot of time on raceday. If you can do a track day before the race weekend, that's the best thing, otherwise they usually have an open track deal the Friday before the LeMons event. Good radios help a lot. Check out the forums on the LeMons web site for more tips and to get all your ?s answered. Good Luck!
@ericdhopper I wish I had more, but our camera setups are at the bottom end of the massive todo lists for each race. We have an event coming up in October that should be interesting, hopefully I'll get some good footage.
nice riding. it looks like though you have more ponies under the hood. did you dyno the car?
