aussie oi oi oi.... is truly embarrassing... when i hear people sing it at an international sporting event I REALLY CRINGE.. ITS SO DISGUSTING... especially when ugly fat middle aged women sing it.
I was 6 or 7 AND we had a 7" single of it and played that somg until it would play no more! killer tune, had us jumpin on our beds with a cricket bat in hand smashing a tennis ball around the room!
Those were the glory days of Aussie cricket. Im glad i was there to be part of it. I'll never forget seeing Clive Llyod sending for his '' big bat'' during the last over of a limited overs game at the SCG, last ball needing 6 to win and he hit it...the next week Australia played NZ and that was the game of the famous ''underarm'' incident.
How the Aussies would crave for this side..... Redpath, Laird, I Chappell [c], G Chappell [vc], Hookes, Walters, Marsh, Gilmour, Walker, Lillee, Pascoe.
I would like that C´mon Aussie C´mon became an Australia´s Socceroos chant like England´s "Three Lions" cause Australia in only two times go to play in the FIFA World Cup.
