My big complaint with legendaries in Generation V is that they're too easy to catch (although maybe I just have weird luck). But in Generation IV, it was more difficult, and I think this track reflects that.

Giratina was my first non plot centered legendary Pokémon I encountered. I defeated it with my Empoleon not knowing it was important. I was thinnking about it afterwards and I decided I wanted one. So I opened my pokedex set it to alphabetical and found Giratina it said area unknown. I noticed that right next to it was Girafarig. They looked somewhat similar. So I caught Girafarig and tried to evolve it into Giratina, to this day it is still a Girafarig. Lol I've learned so much since then.

Giratina is my all time favorite pokemon. I like how at first glance he looks terrifying but you can look really hard to see that he really has that cute face underneath. This also happens to remind me of when I was trying to catch Heatran and had 99 Ultra Balls/Hyper Potions and Revives on me. (legitimately bought, spammed vs. seeker and gave up the first time around/lost HMs needed) Iirc I brought along an over leveled Giratina (90's) and a yawner.

Ah, fond memories of this. I solved the puzzle in less than ten minutes, sat my tail in front of Giratina and saved, then reset after the start of the battle. In a day and a half, I had me a shiny Giratina.

I'm gonna be the one to say it. This legendary sucks compared to some of the other music, both in this game and in the older ones. The song starts up really good, with the two long notes, but then the rest of it is very noticeably looped, and it's just the clicking of the "drums" that you hear.

Using a picture of Giratina for this video made sense at the time this video was made. But now that Giratina has its own battle theme (which is awesome) it doesn't seem fitting anymore. Maybe it would of made more sense if this video showed a picture of Heatran, Regigigas, Rotom (not a legend but this music plays when you fight it), and Darkrai. But however, this music did play in D/P when you fought Giratina so for D/P and not Platinum, it does fit.

At least you understand that Rotom isn't legendary. People say that because it has this theme, it's legendary. It's not. It's weak-ass, easy to kill, seen in the battle tower, breedable, and a NPC in B/W OFFERS YOU ONE in exchange for a ditto.

Bad trade imo, but you can catch Ditto in the giant chasm so i did it for the pokedex. You can change its forms in the shopping mall btw, and its secondry type (ghost) changes to match its forms, unlike the fourth gen

i fought Giratina (altered forme) once and he was as scary as hell not just because of the fact that he's a ghost type as well as a dragon type and his moves are wicked awesome but at level 70! uh-uh not gonna happen (again) not this battle. because that was definitely one legendary pokemon battle i wished not to repeat again if at all. it took me only 7 dusk balls to successfully catch Giratina but i was lucky to catch him when i did (sighs in great relief)

Giratina is a bitch to capture. >_< I wasted like 60 Ultra Balls(All), 7 Heal Balls, 3 Timer Balls, 11 Luxury Balls, and so on.

All I had left was a LV. 36 Chatot and 5 Timer Balls. I caught it with the 3rd TB. Chatot isn't affected by Ghost type moves, so I was lucky.
