Man, you are good. I "discovered" Randy Newman about 20 years ago when I saw a movie called Avalon. I think he's one one the finest American musicians of the later times. He's stuff is incredibly beautiful to a point that is almost painful.
Absolutely wonderful arrangement of a challenging song. I'm so impressed. Saw Randy Newman in Glasgow last night, and found your arrangement today. Now I have to try to work it out :)
This is one of my favorite Randy Newman songs, beautifully played, nice reverb and particularly impressive that you learned it by ear. But more importantly you got the feel of this song. It's so subtle and fragile and the moments of pause are so important. I've played "God's Song" and I'm working on an Open D slide of "Suzanne" but both child's play compared to this. Wow...
i just saw randy newman at the sydney opera house last night.. this song is amazing. youve done a great cover here, sounds just like the original. if you ever do make a tab for it let me know :) keep up the good work man
This is just...perfect. Thank you endlessly for sharing. I'm a piano player who dabbles with guitar. Is there a tab you used for this? Please and thank you!
@rock2dream Hey, thanks for the comment. A good comment on this song coming from a piano player is especially nice :) Unfortunately theres no tabs... yet. I worked out the song by ear so I don't use tabs much. I just love pretty much all of Randy Newmans stuff, this song in particular. Eventually i'll get round to putting up tabs and i'll have a link in the desription but atm im busy gigging, college and playing
@MrEffortless i try not to work from tabs when possible, (although i still use them alot) but this is my own arrangement and so far i haven't done any tabs. since getting alot of people on youtube asking for tabs i plan to do a load between now and christmas. hope that helps :)
@022877 Thanks pal! Im jealous coz I cant play piano (yet) and only a few of Randy Newmans songs seems to be able to transfer over to solo guitar. Great version of 'It's Money That I Love" btw.

There are so many strange but beautiful chords in this song (one of RN's best) and everything comes across so well in your performance. Excellent.
