I beat all the halos on legendary except this one. I'm a halo vet but I lost interest after I finished reach, so I've been playing gears of war. is this worth the buy? (for a low budget 16 year old?)

i love odst, especially the firefight, i've only ever played it with one of my friends, but on several occasions i went to his house once and we survived for 4 hours and 50 mins until we quit because we got bored and we had like 30 lives left so we started killing eachother :D

Firefight should have been like ODST because it meant teamwork and not jet packing around the map with a rocket launcher. I love firefight but I preferred ODST over reach. ODST Firefight meant you had to use teamwork in order to survive and make it to the next wave. Reach just abusing infinite ammo. All in all ODST for life.

Reachs firefight may be more advanced but that doesn't mean it's better. I LOVE reachs firefight but I much prefer ODSTs firefight mostly because it was just more fun and FAR harder and pushed people to use tactics alot more. I'm not hating on reachs firefight in just saying I prefer ODSTs to reachs. Problem?

@halofreek222 Well tbh, ODSTs firefight was not that hard (Like it's campaign) even on the hardest difficulty. Reach on the other hand is a lot harder on Heroic or Legendary.

@halofreek222 Umm, no. ODST Firefight is very easy on Legendary, partly because of the dumb Brutes. The only thing that made it hard were the cheap Drones. Reach is MUCH harder.

@halofreek222 well no of course you can't create the exact same experience but if you adjust the loadouts, lives, skulls, spartan base traits, wave traits, and of course your own personal armor style (ODST shoulder pads/chest/helmet(or recon if you wanna cosplay dare/visor and voice which ideally should be Johnson, Buck, or No. 6) your experience should still be enjoyable, however I wish they put the Drones and a few classic ODST maps in reach...that much I do despair for :(
