@fender19281 That was soloing mix with triads so you should first be able to play A or D or E triads over 123 set strings. Do not need to think scale. This lesson is about triads over blues changes. Thanks.

Hi Tomo, you showed the triads for the the E, B, and G strings at the start of the video, but what were you doing over the top 3 strings when you started playing in funk/jazz? Were they scales or arpeggios? Thanks!

Thank you very much! You can think about direction of chords. Scales- you can practice so that if you hear something... be able to play... I recommend my students not to practice too much scales.
