Some of the big ones you forgot are Bra'Tac, Gen. Landry and The Replicators. With all the minor characters you included I'm really surprised you forgot Bra'Tac. He's probably one of my favorite recuring characters on the show.

It was SO fucking smart for MGM to stop their biggest cash cows EVER. Stargate will always be loved by nearly everyone. MGM is so stupid on getting rid of their better shows.. get rid of their fucking crap ones, NOT STARGATE.

I can understand ending SG-1. I mean, the last two seasons are an obvious drop in quality and not a lot of people liked them. I'm glad they didn't continue it, it would have just destroyed it.

Now, Atlantis I can't understand. The show was going strong (although the constant changing of characters was kind of annoying) and could have lasted just as long as SG-1.

I'm psyched for Universe, though. I can't wait to see how they approach it.

I love SG-1, then comes SG:A but i really hate SG:U. SG-1 was cut off because the actors (especially RDA) didn't wanted to continue and think what SG-1 is without Jack!

The cut off of SG:A was the most stupid decision they ever made, especially HOW they end that series: freedom in the galaxy, getting Atlantis to planet earth, etc. within four episodes. It wasn't a cutoff it was an unexpected outage :(

Because of this and because SGU is crap in general i didn't watched the show on TV...

Sure, the first season is always a bit annoying but in every episode im thinking "What the fuck are these idiots doing?" They have military staff there, scientists and some privates but instead of organizing it like in the navy they run around like chickens without a head. And the scientists freak out because "the military has the leadership" ... wow, was it so different in the base you worked before? NO!

The writers really have to think about what they write.

I own all SG-1 DVD boxes (limited silver edition, all still sealed, mint condition), all SG:A DVD boxes (opened) but i never will own any SGU stuff. I boykott this series because its quality and because they just shut down SG:A in a way which shows how much they care about us - they only want the money.
