  • I heard this song today & it brought back so many great memories, some about an old boyfriend and even some about my mother believe it or not. I wish time didn't seem to fly by us so quickly. Thanks so much for sharing with us this great video.

  • This song, out of nowhere, jumped into my mind yesterday and all I could remember was the "Hey baby, they're playin our song"! LOL It's been years since I've heard it, I'm sure. LOL

  • thanks Jubilee2 for posting this. i'm such a big fan. 'never knew they're still rockin' together again. the buckinghams forever...

  • Great song! Saw em a coupla times WBT in the Dick Clark touring shows!

  • Carl's kinda gross without Dennis.

  • Carl's kinda gross without Dennis.

  • Totally agree!! Absolute best music and best time of MY life as well! I feel so bad

for the youth of today...they just have no idea what great music and times they missed!

  • Sophisticated and so memorable...love that "Chicago" sound!

  • This takes me back to my High School days. Many of my favorites are from the sixties. The Buckinghams always had a tastefully done horn parts. The producer of the group Chicago had his fingers in this pie. There was some involvement, even if it was on the peripheral fringe of interaction. Thanks for posting these songs.

  • That was a lovely tribute...they're such a great group...I saw them last year in Watertown...they brought the house down.

  • I met the band in the late 90s after they performed a free concert at the WTC. In addition to the great music, they are great guys.

  • I love u Dennis and Carl

  • my mom and me love this band

  • This is the best music and time of my life wish it could have lasted for ever!!

  • Bring back Dennis Tufano!

  • Great song. Brings back lots of memories listening to this and many other hits while growing up and listening to 1320 KCPX--The BIG 13--in Salt Lake.

  • this song make me yuong again in the 60

  • Great songs..

  • Thanks for sharing. Hope u can post more. Wish I could see that show.

  • The Buckinghams, The Ides of March, adn Ronnie Rice are going to be in two shows end of May, 29th at the Genesee Theatre and May 30 at the Star Plaza. This great triple bill is called The Chicago Hitmakers. Pleasant memories are coming back to me, indeed. thanks Jubilee

  • And pleasant memories are coming back to me listening to a group grooved with in high school.

    Good work Jubilee, thanks

  • Who sang "Playing our Song", "Susan", and "Kind of a Drag"?

  • Dennis Tufano is the Original Lead Singer, the one singing on this video, the one who sang on all the original records. For the Buckinghams that tour today, Carl Carl Giammarese is singing the lead. In the orginal band, Carl was the Lead Guitar player and one of the backup singers. Dennis does not tour with today's Buckinghams.

  • Thanks for putting together this montage. I love this song!

  • Dennis and The Buckinghams should get back together, that's where they belong.

  • I like that.....

  • good job! i love it!-kat

  • One of the best groups with such great songs from the 60's. Made me appreciate my teen years back then!

  • Great Group, Great Song and Great Memories from both .. Thanks for Posting It

  • Really nice tribute. Taking nothing from the current Buckinghams lineup, it's kind of strange to watch the "no Dennis" video with his oh-so Buckinghams voice in the barckground!

  • Love you Cousin!

  • Unique and gifted. First Class. Your tribute is great...

  • i always will love this group!

  • what a awesome video done for a awesome group. Thanks for posting!!!

  • The Buckinghams deserve tributes. Thanks for creating this one.

  • Great song, they are one of the great groups in 1967.

  • who was the original drummer? I heard it was Danny Seriphine from the band "Chicago". Sure sounds like him.

  • No. This was Jon's group from the start. In fact, no Chicago members were a part of the Buckinghams. The only similarity was their producer Guercio.

  • Holy cow, I never KNEW that! Thanks for the info!

  • That band and those songs just bring back so many great memories. I can't figure out why today's music just doesn't do that. That band was just awsome

  • SUCH a great band.

  • What a great song! Thanks.

  • dennis didn't want to reunite and tour with the band? HE's the MAN...love him.

  • Hey. Where'd my comment go?

I favorited the vid right before I made the comment, and that's the thanks I get? Sheesh.

  • Oh my they dont write them like this anymore,

    To bad....

  • Carl is hotter looking now then when he was young!!

  • LOed them at the HOLIDAY Ballroom on Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago. Saw them for 2.50 and 3.00 when they got famous!

  • Thanks! Just beautiful.

  • Sounds like a young Neil Diamond

  • For Ruthie...x

  • Same lead singer today?

  • No.

  • Thank you, Stan...

  • One of their best! I see them every year in Westbury, Long Island. I understand the lead singer is different...but who cares! They still look and sound great!.

  • i love all there songs--everytime you hear them you have to sing along

  • A smashin track,like it,cheers :)

  • absolutely awesome!!!!!

  • Chicago Gold at its finest... The Buckinghams! 8)

  • NICE TRACK

  • Loved their music! Thanks so much for this one...my favorite...

  • terrific montage. Check out their new CDs, "Reaching Back" and "Standing Room Only"...they are two must-haves for the Bucks collection. Carl Giammarese, Nick Fortuna, Tom Scheckel, Bruce Soboroff, and Bob Abrams are a great act to see in concert!

  • They could never get Dennis Tufano to come back? I saw the Bucks as part of an "oldies" show about 10-12 years ago and it was Carl doing the singing, though I don't know if Nick also was part of that tour.

  • Yes, Nick was always part of the reunion tour. Dennis did several concerts 1980-1982 with Carl and Nick, but then left to go back to California. Bucks web site notes Carl and Nick have toured consistently since 1982 with Tom Scheckel, drums, Bob Abrams, guitar/vocals, and Bruce Soboroff, keyboards/vocals. Carl on lead vocals and guitar, Nick on bass guitar and lead vocals on selected songs.

  • Thanks for the info. It's good to know they've had a consistent line-up, instead of people coming and going.

  • These guys were one of the truely best bands of the '60's. Every song was good. How were they in concert? you compiled great pics of them! Very outstandind vid, luv it!!!!
