I think the time for someone to get back out there is when it feels right. It will depend on how deep, meaningful and long the relationship was. I once had this relationship that only lasted 4 weeks. When we broke up, I literally thought it was the end of the world. It turns out I got over the relationship quickly, I was back dating again the following weekend (4 days after).
