Would you say that this helicopter is a helicopter that is a would be a good indoor helicopter for someone who wants a helicopter modeled after a real helicopter that is also a fun helicopter for indoor helicopter flying but not a helicopter that may cause damage to something or perhaps even another helicopter that was flying at the same time as this helicopter.
This is a very nice and good flying tandem heli - much better (and better suitable) as the Walkera YS8001.
Build a new battery mount and new plugs, and you can fly many different batteries.
It is very easy to do.
I fly batteries from 130 mAh to 800 mAh - very different flight characteristics. Maximum 14 min flight without landing (800 mAh), 13 min with Zippy 600 mAh.
HAHAHAH very nice helicopter man. Are You sure this helicopter is for beginner helicopter pilots? Which other helicopter would you recommend for first helicpoter to start flying helicopters?
its a bit windy outside so we take a tour of the house.... and what do we see.... a fish pond! not a tank a fish pond, how cool is that, Very NICE!!!!
OMG, Paul, you have a koi pond in your house! That is soo cool. I am so jealous.
This twingo heli really does fly incredibly well. I modified mine to use the many 1S 400mah batteries I use with my Lama2. Also cut off the dummy engine pods, wasted weight and blocks downthrust. Only downside is, the forward speed is so slow that it will be next to impossible to fly outdoors, even in the slightest breeze, but it keeps it very stable indoors. Recommended for anyone, even complete beginners.
@SteebunRoba I also rebuilt the battery mounting and use 130 - 800 mAh batteries.
I can change the point of gravity easily this way - and the Twingo is quite fast and very stable if you mount heavy batteries (400 - 800 mAh) more to the front side.
Did not fly it outside yet, but I guess, it will be possible with big batteries (-> more weight)
